I am seriously not understanding all the recent reviews. I've visited this location multiple times now, they have pretty normal opening hours in my opinion and their service is really good! As an international student, I've had quite a lot of essential financial things to take care of, and the staff at this branch literally helped me with every single one of them. Thanks, Scotiabank! I am a happy new customer!

This branch messed up with handling my account multiple times and there was zero communication to remedy that or apologize for it. I initially brought them an application to add another person to my account and they screwed up the application by asking me to get signatures and fill out parts of the form that was never meant to be filled. I did so and brought it back to them same day. I spent an hour with them showing my identification and getting through all the security loops after which they promised me that they would submit the application. Instead of submitting it, they froze my account without telling me about it (put me through a very embarrassing situation trying to pay for things multiple times and having my primary credit card declined). Because they did this locally, I couldn't remedy the situation by phone with customer support and had to deal with the branch. The branch manager assured me that she would take care of it and that I should have the form submitted and she will get back to me. After a month has passed, I called in to be told by customer service that no one has submitted any forms and after reviewing what they told me to submit, I realized why. They originally forced me in the branch to prefill and add signatures to places on the form where they were never meant to be (lack of reading comprehension on their part). Now they are probably too embarrassed to come back to me and tell me they were wrong or maybe they just don't care.

Both the call centre and the branch are extremely unhelpful in everything. They just kicked me between each other and neither can get my problem fixed. Glad that I have already closed all my relationship with Scotiabank

Looks like a change is needed in the management. ………….. However Raj is the only saving grace.

The staff turnover in the last couple of years suggests this is as bad a place to work as it is to be a client. Didn’t used to be this way. Try a different branch or, better yet, a different bank.

Just Bank with TD it’s 5 steps away. I’ve been banking with Scotia for 9 years at this location and they still give me a hassle if I want to even change my debit card because the tap feature never works after 6-8 months. Each time I go in they act as if I’m a brand new customer that they’ve never seen... after 9 years. Never a smooth process and always a hassle. Bank teller asked me to, in front of other customers, announce my name, D.O.B., email, phone, home address, name all accounts I have with Scotia, most recent transactions, my mother’s maiden name, my current account balance and plenty else. 0 discretion or respect for privacy. And this is all after I verified my pin and provided government issued photo-ID. I repeat, go with TD.

Terrible experience with the manager at the time Jonathan. I lost my wallet and everything inside. I tried to go in to replace my card, He asked me every question under the sun and then treated me like I was trying to fraud him. He refused to help and told me to call the customer service number. So unprofessional and embarrassing when near other clients who are listening in.I will be closing my accounts with Scotiabank.

Initial service was pretty standard but you can forget about any follow up services thereafter. Emails go answered, numerous calls to your allocated financial advisor always go to voicemail, and no weekend services available at this branch.I hope this is not the norm at other Scotiabank branches.

I came to simply open a Checking account and was offered to apply for a credit card in the process, which I politely accepted as it was a good deal. However, I had to spend an hour waiting while they were LITERALLY DRAINING all my personal information from me.. I bank with other bank for over 4 years and NOBODY has ever asked for my Job Offer with my WAGE, Bank Statements and Pay Stubs.. come on guys, it is just too much.. i was very patient with everything but at the end apparently their manager NEEDED EVEN MORE. In the beginning, nobody told me that I would need to provide all these documents. I regret going there cause after all I just refused to get a credit card. Honestly, I am very VERY patient and understanding but this was just too much.Financial Advisor Vrusti was very kind and polite, she was just trying to deliver her manager’s message. But manager just kept asking more info. Honestly, I felt like I am being audited by police. Very negative aftertaste after my visit. Would not recommend to anyone, especially to immigrants as I was treated like they don’t trust me and I have to prove myself to them…

Been trying to get ahold of bank the bankManager for weeks I just keep getting the voice mail and she never returns my calls. My last time at that branch I lost my wallet and was replacing my card and was treated like a absolute criminal and at the end of my visit I wasn’t given a new card. The female in the corner and the Asian gentle in the front desk found my situation funny enough to share with fellow scotiabank customers next to me with excitement and laughter. Going to td bank now
