I love this place, especially in the winter months. What better way to see the history of Saskatchewan but in a vast, warm building, filled with unique displays. And it’s great for all ages too. Plenty of parking, easy to find and you can easily spend hours looking at everything. I highly recommend a visit.

A nice place to see popular old cars of the North America. Most of them have been recovered professionally for the museum and have provided lots of things to amuse people for a nice visit.

Visiting the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw was a fantastic experience! The museum beautifully captures the rich history of transportation, agriculture, and industry in Western Canada. The exhibits are well-curated, showcasing a remarkable collection of vintage vehicles and machinery. From the fascinating displays on automobiles and trains to the insights into Saskatchewan's agricultural practices, my family was captivated by the depth of information and the immersive atmosphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Whether you're a history buff or simply curious about the region's heritage, I highly recommend a trip to this wonderful museum. It's a true gem in Moose Jaw and Saskatchewan!

10/10. Never been to the WDM before and glad I finally went. They have some really cool displays and the quality of the cars is incredible. I could definitely spend another full day or two taking it all in. Will be back for sure:)

An incredibly high quality museum with an impressive collection. It’s largely centred on transportation including a section on the brief steamboat era on the North and South Saskatchewan. Ever wanted to be in the drivers seat of a steam locomotive? Look no further! It’s located right beside highway 1 so it’s an easy stop when on a road trip.

We had a fantastic time!I even dropped a little surprise package off to a wonderful staff member (and friend) Denise. We love that their reasonably priced admission is valid the following day visit again, as well as a couple other locations (remember to keep your receipt to show for free admission).
