Booking was easy and the friendly staff made planning a breeze.Gear was in great condition, updated lifejackets made paddling easier.Would suggest grabbing a 3 person or solo canoe/kayak in the future for 3 adults, although the 2 man is manageable it can get a little uncomfortable for the third individual.Recommend Deep Roots to those in the area looking for their next AP trip.

You can tell that Corina and company take great pride in their business and value their customers, as well as take care of their equipment. We will definitely be back if visiting the neighbouring lakes again!

Staff was very friendly, location was easy to get to. Overall prices were good for stand up paddle board rentals. The boards we got were very new, nice to have fresh equipment! We were provided everything we needed from roof straps and the pump. Very accommodating for a last minute rental!

We had an incredible day out with Deep Root Adventures. We enjoyed a wonderful kayak on the York River into Algonquin National Park along with a short hike and lovely picnic. Aaron, our guide, was really personable and full of local facts - can’t recommend enough!

Had an amazing experience with this company last weekend. Our canoe, Augusta was lightweight and easy to handle, the lifejackets were amazing quality which is rare for rental services. Friendly, and professional service, you can tell they care about the job they do. Staff and owner were kind in allowing us to rent an extra day. The pup at the shop is an added welcome bonus! Looking forward to using them again.

This is the 3rd year in a row we've rented from Deep Roots. Corina is fantastic and provides excellent customer service, with recommendations and tips for us. It's extremely convenient to have the canoes delivered to the launch site for us. Always happy to continue renting from them

Had an amazing experience kayaking with the family at Deep Roots Adventure.The prices were reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.We had 2 kids in the family and the staff were able to help us choose bigger kayaks to accommodate 1 kid with 1 adult.They helped us get our life jackets on, get into the kayaks and get off the kayaks after we were done as some members of our group had never kayaked before.Will definitely recommend to anyone who’s in the area and looking for a fun family activity.

Deep Roots Adventure
We rented a canoe for 2 and had an amazing experience for the whole day, 5 hours or so of paddling on elephant lake. We did get lost and ended up on the lake instead of the York river like we first intended, but it was still a breathtaking experience : lily pad flowers, wild birds, colorful dragonflies, forests and wooded islands.We did encounter a thunderstorm but that was part of the fun.
