Blackbird Electric Tattoo

I absolutely love this shop. Not to get all corny with this review but my experience at this Tattoo Shop was amazing. Karrie did an outstanding job with making me feel comfortable and heard (during the consult and the day of the tattoo). I had got an existing wrist tattoo covered up and let me tell you...it will never be missed. She created a piece that helped represent me perfectly. Not only is she great, but her shop mates also give off such friendly energy. I'm a super nervous person already so coming out feeling happy and calm was one amazing experience! I would highly recommend this place if you want great art and good vibes.

I've been here for 4 tattoo sessions now, and next one already booked, over the past couple years with Craig and it's been great every time. This includes 2 during the pandemic, one last July and one this week, and I felt safe/comfortable both times. Feedback on drawings and placements was also well received and I appreciate being able to see the drawing before the appointment date.

Simone was FANTASTIC! I was only in Calgary for one day and they were able to sneak me in for a little flash piece that I am totally in love with. They were quick, professional, super cool and very very kind. The shop itself is clean and very well decorated! Can’t wait to come back next time I pass through the city!

Awesome shop! Got a piece from Karrie last week after considering for a long time. She was very responsive in editing my design (even though I got something pretty small) and was just a total superstar during the actual tattooing process. She was very quick and her pieces are just super duper clean and artful. Also the shop itself is super cute and tidy. Definitely pop by if you're looking for some sweet custom work or flash.

Always have a fantastic experience here, tattoos always come out incredible and the staff are all very kind and you can tell how much they care about their craft.

I had my tattoo done by Quill tattoo. I came for my appt and it was just him and I in the shop for the first portion, he made it feel incredibly comfortable and safe. It was clean and welcoming even as the other tattoo artists arrived. The tattoo itself was phenomenal and everything I could have asked for.Would highly recommend all the artists and the space.

Fantastic tattoo shop. Extremely clean. Craig (Quill) tattooed me less then a year ago. He listened to all my ideas, is approachable, and is very creative/artistic. My tattoo healed beautifully, and I will definitely return! I've also heard amazing things about Karrie, the owner of the shop, and will consider getting dot and line work done by her in the future as well.

I got a tattoo from Karrie over a year ago. She was great to deal with, she's super friendly and has great ideas (I am very vague). Her art is beautiful and her tattooing is some of the best in the city. She's also super quick! You can tell she has experience. The tattoo healed really well, and very dark. The shop is super clean and beautiful (I love the high ceilings), full of great art. The other artists there, I've never been tattooed by but follow them on insta and have seen them work/met them...also are amazing artists who are super professional and nice people. You would expect artists this good to be arrogant and rude (like some others in the city whom I won't mention XD) but they really aren't. Super comfortable, inclusive, friendly place. Clean, easy to find and the staff are gems.

Awesome shop! Mason is so great, i have 3 tattoos from him so far. Both my kids have also been tattooed by him. The shop has a very cool old school tattoo vibe.
