Went here for the first time after some friends recommended it. First time having Uzbek food too!The service from Hikmat was incredible! He was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome as if we were in his home. The food was amazing too, very flavourful and good portions, with information on the menu to explain the dish and where it is from/inspired by.Can't wait to go back next time and try the soups and other mains! Definitely try this place out if you're nearby!

This place is so good! It's the best lamb rice I've ever had in London! And the borscht was delicious! The baked buns are also very good and authentic. It's a reminder of the food I had in Xinjiang.

My first time eating Uzbek food, and it has definitely expanded my palate in a very good way!Pelmeni was soft on the outside and juicy on the inside, paired with a bit of butter and sour cream brings out so much depth from the meat and broth which the dish comes served in. Kabob was good as well, the salt from the fries adding just a good bit of savoury to the light broth, perfect for dipping meat or drenching a piece of bread in.9.1/10, will return to try their manti.

I recently returned from Uzbekistan, enjoyed the food journey and even experienced a plov makin. I didn't anticipate finding such authentic Uzbek food outside of the country, but I did try the plov at a food stall in London and it was exceptional. Naturally, I was eagerly looking forward to trying more dishes at this particular restaurant. Unfortunately, they had run out of samosas, but overall, the selection of dishes (including manti, soup, and salad) was good, albeit limited. However, I was quite disappointed that every dish was generously sprinkled with dill instead of the coriander that is typically used in authentic Uzbek cuisine. Considering the abundance of coriander in London, I couldn't understand why dill was used so generously. It significantly affected the taste and left us feeling overwhelmed with dill flavors. Dill works better with lighter dishes like fish and pastries, it didn't complement the meat dishes and made the experience less authentic. Uzbek plov, the shredded barbecued or fried meat is usually what sets it apart, so I was let down to find that the plov here had chunky meat pieces instead. All in all, I would rate this place a 6 out of 10. However, I would be willing to give it another chance, considering we visited on a busy bank holiday.

I found this hidden place by pure accident and since I’m a big fan of plov, decided to check it.The place deserves its rating 100%!Ukrainian borsch was delicious, plov is just as it has to be.The guy who works there (Hikmat, not sure I’m spelling his name correctly) is very nice and attentive.Service was very fast, it took me less than 30 min to order and finish my lunch.I will be going there a lot for sure, can’t wait to taste lagman and manty

It’s my second time here. A little bit tricky to find it. Very hidden inside of the market. If you are craving for meat and carbs, definitely an Affordable place to go.

/ Manti. Traditional Uzbek dumplings, must try! This time the filling is a little bit salty though.
/ Mastava. Uzbek soups with fried pieces beef and vegetables. Comfy food for me.
/ Somsa. Need to wait for 30min. Hot and crispy with beef fillings.
/ Borsh. Traditional Ukrainien beetroot soup with lamp meat. Most of the dishes serve with sour cream. Will visit it again.
