National Car Rental

Worse car rental company I have ever seen.Rented a car for one day. When returning, no one was at the front desk during daytime so I only left the car there and took the car keys with me for safety. Unfortunately I later forgot to return the keys and flew back to Vancouver. I called in right away after landing and they told me to just courier it back. They didn't mention any delayed fees and usually company like this tend to have spare keys anyway. I later saw my bill and they charged me 8 days rental fee. I emailed back several times to fort st John location and called their headquarters to help out on this situation.It has been 4-5 months and still haven't even gotten an answer. Fort st John location just choose to ignore me and never replied to any of my emails. Will never rent from them again. This is not the way to deal with a customer problem.

Horrible experience. Was quoted $349.61 and was charged $2,455.38. They have done nothing to help me out when I have called them and have horrible service.

Was left stranded in the airport at 1am. All other car rental kiosks were already closed. I Travel constantly for work this is the Worst service ever. Will never rent National again.

Contrary to some of the other reviews, I have had nothing but positive experiences with National at their Fort St. John airport location. I rent from them regularly, and have been doing so for many years. Their staff have been unfailingly polite, friendly, efficient and accommodating. In my rush to catch a plane I have now forgotten to return the keys to my car twice, and their response has been very understanding on both occasions. As opposed to the atrocious Fort St. John taxi service, National has been 100% reliable and have always provided me with good clean cars.

The car and serivce was great! But be careful of the extra charge. 100 miles then $100 more. Take a close look at the note after review theestimated total amount of money.

Worst experience of renting a car I have ever had...

National changed their insurance policy you buy from them. The deductible is $2500 instead of 0 which makes the insurance useless.

Where else do rental shops charge above market rates for rentals then ding you with surprise excess km charges. One of a kind.
