The responses to my questions for Form 2 were answered quickly by Jackey Lee, and in a way that I understood, which made the process easy and stress free. Thank you.

You can't deny someone the right to say goodbye to a loved one, especially an illegal reason. Medical health and choices are private and are protected by Privacy Laws. Mandates are not laws. You can't force employee's or customers to disclose this information, it is a Human Right's violation. This is discriminatory behavior. There will be a considerable amount of lawsuits brought against you if you continue to try to enforce this disgusting directive.

Who mandates a medical procedure requirement for a funeral, when those who've lost loved ones have dealt with enough. Absolutely disgusting

To deny someone the right to say goodbye to a loved one because of a PRIVATE personal medical choice is morally and ETHICALLY reprehensible. That is discriminatory behavior that should not be tolerated. Shame on you B.A.O for your lack of compassion, logic and complicit behavior to this tyranny. You bowed down to this tyrannical government when you should be taking a humanitarian stand to represent grieving families. You have failed, horribly.

To deny someone the right to say goodbye to their loved one is wrong and not compassionate. For people who build their business on ‘love and compassion’ and deny people who don’t have a vaccine is disgusting. No matter the choice in someone’s PERSONAL belief they should be able to pay their final respects. We have been in this pandemic for over a year, we comply with wearing masks and sanitizing, although we should NOT have to get a vaccine to say goodbye. The BAO and government should be ashamed of themselves. This is disgusting.

They fail to acknowledge inherent conflict of interest of funeral directors with their families and funeral homes employers. There is very little oversight of what funeral directors actually do.

Denying access to funerals by loved ones who for whatever reasons have not been vaccinated is against human rights. This policy needs to be removed immediately. Same goes for testing. It's unconstitutional. I hope you see the seriousness of what you are attempting to enforce

What a fantastic job they do to ensure the consumers of Ontario are protected and have an outlet to help them with issues. Purchasing funeral or cemetery services can be confusing or emotionally challenging. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario can help if you have questions.

I had the good fortune to connect by telephone with Pratishtha Widhani in the Financial Compliance section who provided excellent advice on a reporting issue. Her pleasant manner, patience and thorough knowledge of the subject was exemplary.
