I very much enjoyed the food here. I was planning only to have a Turkish coffee and baklava but decided to also have sujuk as recommended by the worker. It was very good. Dough was soft and filling was garlicky and flavoured well. Would definitely come here again!

Love the food there, I usually get the sujuk and some baklavas. Reasonable price for lunch. Also tried the shakshuka pide and it was delicious.

My first time trying Knafeh from this bakery and I'm truly impressed. My order was still warm when it arrived. I wanted that melty cheesepull though, so I warmed it up some more in my oven for a few minutes. It was crispy outside with just the right amount of sweetness, and a creamy, cheesy interior. Yum!I also ordered a cheese Fateyer which was very fresh and tasty. The baba ganoush was also very flavourful with a decent portion. I'm definitely ordering from this bakery again.I want to try the rest of their menu.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite a while and today, because Chipotle closed I walked around Granville street and decided to try this restaurant. When I walked in, I was a bit confused because they don’t have a display menu. They only have a small flyer menu around cashier area. I tried the chicken platter regular size. While I was waiting, I thought I’d try a baklava and to my surprise, the lady gave me for free because she said it was my first time here. Food came quickly and portion was very generous. The chicken was really tender and flavourful. I will come back again in the future! Thank you

So, I walk into the cafe, make an eye contact with the woman working there and ask for a table for one. She does not understand me. I ask again, she gets frustrated and starts talking but can’t explain herself. I point to a table by the window and ask if I can seat there - the woman keeps saying something to me, now angrily. Finally, a guy comes and says that yes, I can seat by the window, but I need to order at the counter first. Makes sense, so I come to the counter. They give me a menu and I choose a vegan platter. No luck, they can not serve it to me because a vegan platter is for catering clients only.I order a thyme pizza and an Arabic coffee. No luck again, there is no Arabic coffee available at the moment. They offer me a Turkish coffee instead. I order it, pay for the food, and go sit down at the table.15-20 minutes later the waiter calls me from behind the counter to come pick up my food. I double check with him if they bring food to tables at all - he says no. That makes no sense to me, but it is what it is - this cafe is just very inhospitable. At least to me, that is.I grab my pizza and ask them where is my coffee. The woman starts making it.The pizza is terrible. Will not order again. They bring (?!) the coffee I ordered. A Turkish coffee is supposed to have foam on top it. This one does not have any of it. I take a sip, and find the coffee to be very bitter, over-extracted.I don’t finish my coffee and pizza both are just terrible, and leave.I will not come to this place again, and neither should you.My impression is that they did not want me to be there - that is why the coffee they brewed for me was bad, that is why they did not want to bring the food to the table, etc. The place was not welcoming me at all..

I loved the authentic taste of food there. Lahmajun was perfect, chicken shawarma wrap was so good and smelled fabulous. The price is so good in comparison to the the quality and the quantity. The only thing was that the Baklava we had was not perfectly fresh but it tasted nice. The tea was served in a nice pot that and was fresh.

Little expectations but food was absolutely fantastic. Got the shawarma pizza and it was excellent. The restaurant itself was also very clean and inviting. Unfortunately the service was only so-so. Definitely worth a quick stop if you are out drinking on Granville.
