We had a great deal of difficulty finding a company to move our crates from Chester to Halifax. Shelley was super friendly and accommodating to meet our needs and the movers went above and beyond on the day of the move. Recommend them highly.

I hired this company in January 2021. Unfortunately I had to chase my closing date down the calendar for 2 weeks on and off and on again then off. Dealing with Shelly was the only thing that went well. She was understanding and caring. When the date finally arrived even the go ahead was held up until late in the day. The guys showed up with my belongings, I told them to unload in my yard and they felt bad but their day was being held up too. They didn't want to leave me in such dissarray but I urged them to go on with their other customers and day. Well after talking to Shelley she and the guys agreed to come back when their day was done and before they go home to help me get all my belongings in my new home. They were very professional kind and caring. I would recommend this company hands down. Thank you so much

The company moved a recently purchased fridge for me. House and fridge doors had to be removed. Absoloutly amazing service. Have never had any company do anything in my house with more care then there movers did. The entire time I could hear them moving with concern as if it was there own home. The complete package will always highly recommend.

I called yesterday to see if they could move a couch and chair I purchased on Kijiji. Shelly was able to fit me in the next morning!The movers were very friendly, professional, and dog friendly (my 16yo poodle loved them). The move took just under an hour and everything arrived in perfect shape! I would recommend this company in a heartbeat!Thanks so much! :)

Today Shelley & Her Crew facilitated the delivery of a handcrafted bed. Heavy lifting up an awkward set of stairs. Delivery Team was personable AND professional. Impeccable job - well done TY ;) !!

Just used them for my move last week, and would highly recommend. They ran a bit late getting to my place, but once there, it was easy to see why they get such glowing reviews. They are very good at what they do. They pack everything with care, don't waste time, and were funny and friendly throughout. All at a reasonable price! I recently had to purchase a new refrigerator and did so in the early afternoon at a local appliance warehouse who use Gentle Giant Mover services for appliance delivery. While my purchase was made in the early afternoon, and they already had a full day, Gentle Giant Movers took on my delivery and arrived with my new fridge by before 5pm. My home is small but they were able to put the fridge in its exact place, even though that meant getting around a tight corner or two; and they treated my new appliance (and my home) with care and respect. They also plugged in my fridge and ensured it was in working order before they left. The guys were very pleasant, accommodating, and professional. I offered them a tip for all of their assistance, but they refused and thanked me for being so nice. My experience with the Gentle Giant Movers was pleasant, professional and very helpful. Great staff, awesome and timely service, reasonable rates--I would definitely recommend this company.

We hired these guys to help us with a MAJOR HUGE move in MarchIt was several families combined with a ton of stuff and a combination of 2 business'. The move was absolutely massive and nothing short of brutal. These men showed up first thing in the morning and worked their guts out until after 11 pm that night. There was sooo much heavy lifting, awkward spaces, crouching spaces etc. It was freezing and these guys never complained to us once! I don't think they even took a proper break. They made us feel so comfortable trusting them with our stuff, completely at ease and when I expressed concerns that it was alot of stuff they told me not to worry about a thing and they'd take care of everything, and they did. They were so personable, attentive, friendly and just down to earth good easy going people. The lady who does the booking was also incredible. So friendly and stress free and even showed up on site to check how things were going. I'd absolutely recommend this fair priced, hard working, professional and friendly team. They are efficient and experienced! Thank you guys soooo sooo much!

Gentle Giant Movers did an excellent job on my move. I needed a heavy item picked up in the Valley and transported to New Glasgow. They were friendly, prompt, and handled everything like the pros that they are. Highly recommend them!
