Placed my first order of organic fabrics from this site on Monday. Was thrilled to be able to support an organic fabric retailer in Canada, even though pricier than the stores in the U.S. I normally purchase fabric from.Paid for 1-2d expedited shipping. It is Friday. Still no fabric.Wrote in to inquire. Sent them the order number they sent me with my order. Rude associate responded they need a valid order number as the order number they sent me is invalid and corresponds to an order from June.....along with a canned email about how processing can take several days. No apology, just excuses that they are a rural site and delivery may be delayed.Not impressed.Update: after multiple frustrating back and forth emails, with Kim saying she doesn't understand why I was disappointed I paid $20 for 1-2 day expedited shipping which took 1 week, that they aren't responsible for shipping delays, they eventually refunded my expedited shipping costs.

Happy story about a problem! When my box of fabric arrived, I thought it must have been packed at a beachside resort! Tiny grains of what looked like sand fell off the packaging. Within minutes I realized that a small package of dye reagents had opened up in the mail. My fabric was nicely wrapped in separate packaging, so no harm to the fabric. A quick email to Simplifi, response that day, new package en route, no problems, no ‘challenges’ and no regrets!

Buying from the U.S. site was a perfect experience! Everything was packaged and shipped beautifully, and it was sent and delivered within a very reasonable time frame. They will be my main supplier of an organic fabric (400 gsm Heavy Organic Cotton Fleece) that I use for my business from now on as it is the highest quality I've found, as well as being the easiest and fastest to sew. They also provide many opportunities for saving along the way, just an awesome business that I'm more than happy to support!

SimpliFabric just demonstrated how to lose a customer from the first order. I've ordered 3 items, paid for shipping 15$. When I received the parcel, one of the items was missing. It took 3 days of me asking them what's going on to find out that the third item had oversold" and I will be refunded for it. The item cost was 9.80+tax=11.08

I've only placed one order from Simplifi so far but can say my first experience was a great one! Shipping was really quick, packaging was great! I wish the fabrics were labeled/included info but really not a big deal. The fabric mystery box is awesome! I'll definitely be ordering more from this shop!

wow, love the fabric I just received! They had my order ready to be shipped within a few hours of my purchase. The standard delivery took a bit longer, but I’m thinking it’s due to the holiday season. Will definitely purchase from them again.

I LOVE the variety of textiles they offer. As someone who is very sustainable minded is it great to see a business cater to the sewing community with that in mind.

I was really excited to order from here but I ran into several issues. I was unaware they had two separate sites--a Canadian and an American one, and I ordered from the US site (the one Google brought me to), which charged me in USD and used USPS for shipping. It was only after seeing my order was shipping from Ontario that I thought it was strange to have been charged in USD, so I found the Canadian site only after deliberately looking for it. I contacted Simplifi twice to try and correct my order before it shipped, the first time using a form on their website, and after not hearing back for two days, I tried again by email. It has been a week and no word. I am now trying to get my order from the shipping service Simplifi selected without consulting me. I don't often think to leave reviews but this lack of customer service and feeling of paying more than I was supposed to from the unnecessary exchange rate and shipping option that I wouldn't have chosen was really frustrating.

I love all the organic fabric they have. I have been sewing with it for year. Very good quality fabric, shipped packed nicely. And the fact that it is in Canada helps allot.

I’ve ordered from this fabric shop a few times. They have competitive pricing on luxury and hard to get fabrics (I’m a fan of the Merchant Mills myself) and over all my experience has been fantastic. I love their points system for incentivized buying ad well! I’m looking forward to my next purchase!
