Great place & friendly staff. Highly recommended Heli for brow threading. She introduced me to threading over a year ago & I haven't gone back to waxing since. Her attention to detail & efficiency is great, it's been a long time since I've loved the shape of my brows, but Heli has made that happen!

Great spot! I have been to a lot of wax spas in Ottawa and this is by far the best! Be sure to book with Heli, she is amazing. She works quickly and as painless as can be. She listens to my concerns and is super careful! My sensitive skin does not react to the wax she uses, defiantly will not be going anywhere else! Great business and excellent customer service :)

I had an appointment today for lash lift and tint as well as eyebrow tint and it went amazingly. Knowledgeable and professional staff and I felt very comfortable during my appointment. Overall very satisfied, thank you! ♥️

I originally booked for a quick eyebrow wax, I was booked with Heli, she suggested that I try threading - and I have been converted!! Heli was absolutely amazing, not only is she incredibly gentle but my brows have never looked so good! I already pre-booked my next appointment.

I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for about 5 years now and it's been pretty hit or miss as I've tried many different places. SInce I started coming to the ten spot, Heli has always done an exceptional job with both waxing and threading. I 100% recommend!

I feel bad making this cause the experience wasn’t horrible but I’m not happy with how my nails came out. Me and my mom booked for extensions, and the nail tech who did my moms basically talked her out of getting any sort of colour and gave her a beige and my mom felt super awkward the whole time. And the girl who did my nails was very nice but my nail beds are in incredible pain from being aggressively pulled and my fingers are red from being burned in the uv lamp. I tried to say my fingers were burning when it happened but the nail tech didn’t really do anything and told me to put my hand back in. I’ve gotten my nails done quite a bit and have never experience that before. I also walked out with very thick round nails which I tried to have her file down a little more but she didn’t really change much. It’s just disappointing cause we spent $230 there for these nails which is almost double the usual price we spend and we’re both just really unhappy about it. The experience wasn’t horrible like we enjoyed talking to the techs but we walked out with the exact opposite of what we wanted.

The place is very clean and I like that they use different products for different skin and hair types. Staff are very friendly and always accommodating especially Heli. She is your go-to for waxing services! She is a pro, gets the job done quickly and perfectly.

I originally went in to get my eyebrows waxed and had always wanted to try threading, Heli recommended it and I was pretty excited to try it. She did an awesome job and I’ve never loved my eyebrows so much. She talked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable. I left very satisfied with my service and the job she had done. I’m looking forward to booking with Heli again!!!

Had a great pedicure with Barbie. They offered me a coffee during my appointment and accommodated me working remotely while getting the pedicure. She did a great job and I'll definitely be back.

*update*I am very pleased to update that I was contacted by the spa first thing the day after my initial review, and they kindly worked with me to rectify the situation. I am happy to give The Ten Spot Barrhaven another go and am confident I will have a much better experience when I return. Thank you Annie!I just went in for a Brazilian. I've been to The Ten Spot in Westboro many times and the one in Toronto. I have always had great experiences and really thorough and well done waxing. That was not my experience this time. The aesthetician I had (never told me her name so I can't share it) used soft wax for the entire Brazilian, which I've never had happen at The Ten Spot, nor am I a fan of. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and she missed so much hair. I am not a hairy person, she even commented on that, yet missed entire sections, not just a hair here or there. She left wax all over my skin, which I found when I went to get dressed. Also, I've always had the aesthetician turn around and ask me to do a check before they leave the room to ensure they haven't missed any. This person did not do that. I would have had to get fully dressed, go out front where other patrons were sitting, and ask her to come back and take care of all the areas she missed. I'm certainly not comfortable doing that in front of a bunch of other people. So I just paid for a Brazilian that left me with wax all over my skin and lots of hair. Awfully disappointing.
