Rotary Park Trail (Downtown Side)
Used to be a nice quiet trail. Not challenging to walk, run or bike. Now everyone has dogs off-leash and as you exit by the downtown section, there’s an encampment of vagrants, tents and tarps and all. Avoid it if you can. Might save your life.

This is a beautiful trail, easy enough to travel through on foot or with a bicycle. We love going to the lookout for picnics! Lots of space to find a spot to sit and enjoy the view.

In warm weather it's a great walk. But when it rains alot and it's going to. The trail flouds I strain areas. So be careful. Back tracking or wading threw the water on the trail.

The main section of trail is a nice, moderately difficult 3km hike up to a lookout overseeing “New” (old) Sudbury. There is a nice mix of trees, swamp, and rock to enjoy along the way. However, there are entire sections which are completely flooded, and other sections which you can see on phone maps which aren’t maintained at all.I found the signage to be okay but not great.

Quiet, well-maintained mixed use trails in the heart of the city. Dog-friendly. If you need to walk or cycle from the Flour Mill to New Sudbury or back, this trail is preferable than using busy city streets.

A walking/biking trail between Downtown & New Sudbury? Game changer. This is pretty with classic Sudbury sights. Birch, black rock, marsh, hill & creek. Feeds my heart every time. I’m impressed that someone bothered to make this happen. Raised in Sudbury, I say this may be a simple trail, but a radically positive creation.

Nice trail, couple of different routes to pick, perfect length. Just 4 stars due to occasional inconsiderate users on e bikes and even an actual motorbike clipping through at speed.

Nice trails, from the downtown entrance to the Adanac Ski Hill entrance is ~2.2km. The sign at the Adanac entrance suggests open hours between 06:00-23:00, but I went at 21:00 and the gate was locked, then I returned the next morning (Thursday) at 07:00 and the gate was also locked.

Beautiful Trail. Easy enough to walk through. We did the lower route. Next we will try the lookout route.
