Curtis and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love that I can store my off-season tires here! Being able to drop my car off walking distance from home is an added bonus. Service is always done in the timeframe given.

[July 2 Update] I rarely do highway driving so it's hard to gauge the quality of the repairs but after driving for another 2 months, it's clear Midas didn't address the issue from my past 2 visits. So I'd say they're good for your standard oil/tire change but maybe avoid them for anything more complicated like rotor change.---------------------[Apr 28 Update] The owner, Craig, reached out and offered a free exchange of the brake pads/rotors + oil change. An appointment was quickly setup and the person I interacted with was much more helpful this time. This time around, they also clearly explained the issues they were addressing and even provided an online report with photos. This is exactly the kind of service I was hoping to get in my previous visit and I'm glad they were accommodating this time around. In the end, I paid an additional $250 to get parts of the caliper replaced. Fingers crossed my brakes don't burn up again!----------------------[Apr 17] Mixed experiences at this location. Depends on who answers the phone or who's working the front desk but I was getting a lot of attitude in my last interaction. Oil change is usually okay but in my recent visit, they changed my brake rotors but somehow set the calipers on one side too tight. Within 3 months the brake pad has worn down so quickly that I need to get the car serviced again. I'm reluctant to go back and complain, knowing I'll just be getting more attitude from the staff.

Though my visit ended up costing more than I expected, I trust Midas to ensure my car is well maintained. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Their waiting area was so comfortable, I could have stayed all day.

I've been going to Midas on the Danforth for a few years now for oil and tire changes. Typically, the people at the front are very friendly and courteous. I've most recently had Curtis as the person the front, and he has been very professional and communicative. Today, I had scheduled a tire and oil change that I had booked with Curtis. I arrived at the shop and quickly realized that I had forgotten to load my all season tires into my car. I informed the person at the front (not Curtis, someone I didn't recognize and assumed was new). I suggested that perhaps I leave the car for the oil change only. The front person suggested that if I were go to get the tires and come back, he would have the car done by 6:00pm. I live five minutes away, so I decided to drive home and returned with the tires 20 minutes later. When I arrived, the front person was speaking to someone else and another customer was sitting in the waiting area. He gestured to me to give him my keys, and said he would call when my car was ready, 5:30pm at the earliest but most likely 6:00pm. By 5:45pm I hadn't heard from them so I called to check in on my car. I spoke with the same person who said that when he had taken my keys he was focused on the other customers, and that they hadn't gotten to my car. He double checked and said that my winter tires were still on. He also mentioned that the shop was generally very busy that day. I didn't know what to say to this, and said I was on my way and would be there in 20 minutes to get my car. He apologized, and we hung up the phone. I was upset at first, given that Midas has a 2-3 wait time for appointments. On the way, I realized that mistakes were made, and that this was simply an inconvenience, not a big deal. I arrived and walked into the front to get my keys. The front person apologized again, and I said 'okay'. As I was turning to leave he said something along the lines of, Well you didn't bring the tires." I turned back around

I took my car to this location to have the brakes and suspension looked at. The service I received was above and beyond what I’ve come to expect when I have to see a mechanic. They consistently communicated timelines, provided updates, and honoured the quote they gave me despite parts being harder to acquire than expected over the long weekend. I’ll be taking my car back to this Midas whenever it needs service. Thanks so much for what you do.

My starter needed to be replaced. I was able to get an appointment & a new starter the following day. Excellent service

Very happy with the service I have received. I had a few fairly major repairs done on my aging van. They do stand behind their work and dealt immediately with any issues. The pricing was fair, I never felt taken in as has been my experience elsewhere. Thanks to Curtis and the mechanics at Midas on the Danforth.
