SW Marine Dr Viewpoint
Great quick pit stop on the way to UBC. Accessible going either direction on Marine Drive to access this viewpoint. You should be able to get a parking spot anytime of the day. Great views especially during sunset. You can also see planes landing into YVR.FYI: There is a 15 minute limited according to the posted signs.

Yup!! Just of marine drive almost at UBC, sunsets are awesome, sunny winter days it's packed, sit in your vehicle on your vehicle, stand beside it or sit on the cement blocks or lean on the railings get your butt over here your missing one of the best views in our city.

Neat spot along SW Marine Drive where you can look out across the Strait of Georgia towards Vancouver Island. Good place to watch planes land as well!You can access this lookout heading both directions on Marine Drive, and it doesn't usually get too busy. It would be even better if there were some bike racks!

A nice spot for 180 view. Ocean, clouds, ships, birds, sunset and mountains. Just great for zoning out and disconnecting from the world for a while.

Nice place to stop by and have a break. Stop time is limited to 15minutes as the board says. Better to carry binoculars to see the ships. Normally it's not crowded. It is point of Fraser River entering into the mouth of Pacific, and also a great view for Salish Sea and Iona Beach Regional Park.

Great spot to have your coffee or have your dinner in the car. If you go buy a bus, you will have to take 49, get down at TRIUMF bus stop, and walk back. You can also have a walk in the pacific spirit park along with your Viewpoint tour if you need to walk more. Different seasons have a different view, so if you live close, try all seasons. Sunny days can give you a clean view of Victoria Island and Sea Island.
