I'm giving it 2 stars to this branch, as a bank I give it 3 stars because, like all banks, they bleed you dry with fees while making billions in profits.At this branch, the service is slow and substandard. Despite the huge line up for the counter, one teller was upselling to a client after completing the transaction while two others were stuck trying to figure out the computer and others were roaming from counter to office.

THIS MAKE NO SENSE!First I would like to say that I rarely leave feedbacks but this time, I think it's important! We started a simple process of (1)breaking out my mortgage to have a (2)lower rate 9 MONTHS ago (march2021) and it is not resolved today still(Nov2021). We have been assigned 3 different staff and we are dealing with the director(thinking that it should be faster) since MAY2021 and that was not helpful at all. We have been left in the dark for many weeks without follow up, been booked appointment twice on stats day, no show no call on booked appointment, wrong information given to us, errors made, we have to ask and ask all the time for clear answer which we never received. I would accept 1 or 2 months to sign a new/renew mortgage in a covid situation but never 9 MONTH+! , They have a management problem in my opinions. At this point, I am so disappointed about the service. If you need a fast service please be careful and AVOID!!! I have not choice to provide a 1 STAR feedback at this point in order to warn other person.

This brunch has been my home TD brunch for over 15 years. I had have a little unsettling experience with the counter service in the past. However, after addressing this with the manager over the email, I had a good response. Today, I phoned the brunch with the enquiry for my early mortgage renewal and was very impressed with the client service over the phone. I don't speak French, but the employee of the bank tried her best to accommodate my request. I was promptly referred to the specialist, Ms. Theodora who arranged the same day appointment and prepared all the required documents. This was an amazing service and an easy transaction. Also, I was helped to activate the other bank product by another very courteous and pleasant employee.

The initial exchanges were helpful and provided reassurance we would resolve the matter. Branch Manager seemed empathetic and made himself available to work with me to begin the process. That unfortunately changed along the way and he was not available or very responsive as he was initially. I had to follow up several times with emails and calls. He cancelled the first in person meeting due to a personal matter which can happen. After this, he never got back to me to follow up. I decided 2 1/2 months to resolve an issue was long enough and so I handled the matter on my own without his assistance. On this, I have to change my review to 3 stars.

Phone messages not returned. Staff member transferred to another branch and leaving no instructions or information about transactions started but not completed. Lack of respect for time and travel spent by client in making numerous visits to the branch to complete what should have been a simple transaction. Manager did not deliver on a service promised and then lied about it. I had been a client of a branch in Ottawa, close to my work, for 35 years, and was always satisfied with services provided. Due to the pandemic, I used the services of this branch, which is closer to my home, and regret doing so!

Upgrading my initial review (which is set out below). Good news is that my card was promptly activated without returning to the branch! So, up to three stars. Bad news is that when I tried to register for EasyWeb, despite what it says online in terms of being able to register with the credit card, I would have to -- you guessed it -- go to the branch. Seriously? This couldn't have been done when I was in the first time? I really can't be bothered. This will be the first time in years where I will receive paper not electronic statements etc. Sigh ... Original review: Required to pick up new credit card at branch (most banks mail you the card, but okay). Teller was pleasant, but appeared confused. I provided the required ID, she entered some information in the computer, and gave me the card. When I tried to activate the card once I got home (by speaking with an agent over the phone, as required), I was told that the card cannot be activated because I need to provide my ID to the branch. Seriously? Been there done that AND on the envelope that held the card there are step by step instructions for the branch to follow BEFORE they can release the card. At the top it says, in capitals ACTION REQUIRED BY BRANCH / MESURE A PRENDRE EN SUCCURSALE". Obviously the teller did not follow the correct steps

This bank used to be awesome! Now you have to wait in long lines, and there seems to be a high turnover which is not good. Some of the staff are totally rude, I had a guy being totally rude to me.

Due to bad weather, personal financial services manager, Ange-Desiree Soro offered to discuss my mortgage renewal options over the phone. She called at the exact time of the appointment and was extremely knowledgeable with the various options available to me. She was very patient and attentive in making sure I understood what I was signing etc. I did not feel rushed as I do sometimes with others.Overall great experience. I’ve moved away from this branch however continue to do business with them due to the great service.

This branch has gone downhill ... I try to avoid it as much as possible. All you with little experience. Showed up for an appointment (which I had them confirm twice because of another previous bad experience) with a manager once and they forgot to put it the calendar. . Had to wait 30 + minutes for the manager to show up from lunch. It it was not for the trouble of changing institutions, I would have left a long time ago. I miss the seasoned staff they use to have but they have all since retired. Growing pains I guess.
