St. John Fisher Catholic Church

Just moved to the area and the church is never open...went to the office and one of the priests answered Rudely stating we are closed come back tomorrow" went to mass and the office was closed again so our family is forced to go to a different parish even though this one is 2 minutes away..."

So disappointed...it's Ash Wednesday and the church is not opened. The website said 5:15 mass. People are waiting outside and the church is closed. I'm so unhappy to miss mass. It's a beautiful church but unorganized and no proper direct website.

it is everything you would expect at a church.However, two things I would like to add; if only we can encourage members of congregation with small children to use the room on the right provided for children who sometimes run around and can be very distracting during mass, and with no control over parents.Secondly, I wish that during the prayer of the faithful" we can also pray for those suffering outside of our community.There were the massive killings in the US yesterday. There is hunger and lack of medication in parts of Africa

It's so sad, but this is not a chuch of God. I grew up in the Catholic church. I had never seen anything like this before. I went to this church so I could baptize my 3 year old son. They gave me a box with more than 50 envelopes. They told me to donate money for 3 months and after 3 months they would count how many envelopes I gave to decide if I could baptize my child. Jesus was never going to deny a child baptism. He says blessed are the children who have pure hearts. It is very sad to see a church refuse to baptize a child. It's unbelievably, the name of God and Jesus became a business. I love God so much. broken my heart to see the money is more important that God. Baptize my son depends on how many envelopes I can donate, not the true love I feel for God.

I took my family for mass to the mass at 5:30 on Sunday 27/01/2019. When I hear the petitions I was so surprised to listen to this words: “we pray for those who are prosecuted by the law of the church, we pray for this who are willing to change the laws of the church” I had to explain this mistake to my family and my children. I hope someone at this church realizes about how wrong this petitions are and change them.

Beautiful church with friendly people, nice choir. Father Regs is an amazing priest and plans nice group outings and events to bring us closer and get to know everyone in our parish. Church temperature is also perfect ;)

Love this church but now I'm in mississauga I'll miss the perished preacher amen to all. In Jesus name

I've been going to this church for years, it has a homey kind of feel. Everyone is so kind hearted. My car was blessed by the priest, one of the ladies gave me a blessed rosary when I bought my new car as well. I love this church.I love that they have the option to light candles for loved ones.

It's not the church or the management who is good or bad. It's you. So complain less and pray more. Be tolerant and understand the situation. We can't run our home with limited people and we complain want to see perfection in a community setting which is open and welcoming most of the time.
