Better to save your money and go to a real dentist who has the training and the experience. I've had several of the professors" not wearing masks

.. The clinics are well if you go for cleaning. Otherwise it is waste of time ,energy, money . Because of repeated visits and exams. I am patient of faculty for 4 years. I have no good experience for making crown. This year I accepted the recommendation of the student for crowning of one my tooth which has been root canal before. I made mistake to accept. One single crown took 6 sessions. Only three session for impression. Each time the student and instructor who was only talkative done impression ,they sent to lab and returned.. I was engaged in 4 weeks for only impression. I complained to Dean of Faculty and Director of Clinic. Still nothing. !!I should say priority here is teaching to new dentistry students then treatment. The director of clinic in reply to my email for complain for treatment procedure and repeated mistakes told me that""the Faculty of Dentistry is an educational institution and sometimes students are challenged by procedures they are relatively new to performing on live patients"This director called the patients as LIVE patients. It seems the students have been working on dead bodies and now they are excited on working with Live patients.!! It seems the patients are subjects for testing on them and making mistake on them !!"

If you can afford to go to a regular dentist, please do so. The staff at this place are usually rude and demeaning, beginning from the receptionists and customer service people and all the way to the professors - who sometimes even embarass or yell at the students in front of their patients. The students are generally nice, but dental care is sometimes compromised by inexperience (of course) or time-pressure. You are not really saving money by going here. Sometimes, the result is worse and will cost you more to fix elsewhere. This institution also did not return the money I deposited/put in for future care. U of T dentistry is a big fat fail.I warned you. You get what you pay for. But here, you get way less than what you paid for. Maintain your dignity, save your money, and find a reputable dentist elsewhere. If I could give them 0 stars out of 5, I would.

Not very good my wife went and was ready to go the student could not handle the work load so my wife was given a second student and after 5 visits they could not get the denture the way my wife's old one was so I think they told her we can't help you kinda thing. In any case we put down 900 bucks and they gave us 520.00 dollars back. Crazy they do some lab work you don't like and they still make you pay.I myself had my teeth done there and they did ok with there work not sure what there doing now its all about money to tell you the truth and yes there students and it takes longer really longer to get anything done. And from what I understand the student did there best but the demo or teacher was not very good about what was going on. So yes there prices are about half but the work at times may not be worth even that. And had to wait another year to get started and still not a good final result.

Do not go to this clinic if you value your privacy. They have no regard for patient privacy, and will use and share your personal and medical information, even identifiable photos, for whatever educational and research purposes they want without protecting your identity. It is their entitlement as a teaching facility that is a problem. The students and most employees are nice, but you will have no control or say as to who sees or uses your personal and medical information, nor will you know who has viewed your information.

Here is school so education is more important the treatment. So you are here like as mouse in laboratory. And in most of the cases they want to teach how to do with patients and so it is possible to do something wrong.I should say priority here is teaching to new dentistry students then treatment

Everyone complains about the same thing on here. Receptionist staff is very very rude. No professionalism at all when contacting you or explaining the procedure. Refused to give me the managers name and contact after being very degrading and telling me if I want better service, afford it. Refused to give me her name as well given that she was so rude. Appointments take months and you have to go in multiple times and cannot do just one treatment which you must agree to under contract. Go somewhere else if possible. Most dentists offer discounts when paying cash and don’t have insurance. Ends up being similar in cost without the long wait times and multiple visits and horrible staff. Waited over 3 months to be contacted after doing my root canal with them for a crown and told I still wouldn’t be seen for a few months to complete the crown. Still waiting for the manager Kelly to contact me for my horrible experience. Hopefully this helps.

Due to problems when i was younger and them not getting paid for to be fixed, i have had to start coming here myself to get a lot of work done. And i must say it is a great place, work is quite affordable, the students and staff are very friendly. Wait times can be long yes, most of it is the student waiting for their instructor to check work, but for the cost i am fine with this.

Maybe it's luck, but I have had nothing but great experience and service. The school has been my primary dental service for decades and I have had everything- crowns, cavities, root canals, even a whole new tooth installed. Sure there is some waiting and little errors- it is a school after all- but I have been patient and that makes good karma.
