Great food and service not only while waiting for the ferry to Brier Island. Very lucky to get a seat without a reservation.

Delicious! We were looking for the previous restaurant as listed in the guidebooks and happened upon the Captain's Daughter instead. They were friendly and accommodating with gf needs and it was the best meal that we have had in Canada! We ordered the fried pickles, scallop rolls, fish burger, pan-fried haddock with taco toppings, lobster chowder, sliders and the picky 8yo said that they were the best French fries she has ever had!

Recently came across this quaint restaurant on travel down the Digby neck, Our group sat outside on the deck enjoying the sun and looking at the Grand Passage. Was really surprised at the quality of the meal, enjoyed very delicious plates of scallops, salad, tacos and fish cakes for a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly. Consider this a must, if you are in the area.
