It's my first time in Montreal, and I was looking for a place to get my haircut. I used booksy to search around, and I came across J. Fegeo. I booked it and got into an uber to head over. I was thrilled to see the barber's pole outside. A subtle detail that made it easier to find.The environment at J. Fuego is welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked how I was doing. The most significant difference between J Fuego and other shops I have been to was Jose conversing with me while I got ready to have a seat for my haircut. Most places say hi and wait for you to sit before asking what they can do for you. Here I felt it was more like a friend caring to cut my hair. My experience from the first appointment led me to book my second appointment. This time I came early and had the same greeting ritual, except someone before me was slightly late. I didn't mind waiting. I knew I would get a great haircut, but I would play foosball with my girlfriend while we waited. We both got asked if we wanted food and drinks. It was the start of a great date with my girlfriend because J Fuego has an environment where I could bring my girlfriend, relax and chill before my haircut, and vibe to some great music.Highly recommend J. Fuego to anyone in Montreal needing a haircut.
