absolutely terrible experience over and over again. The doctor himself is a great caring professional but the receptionist Causes so many issues. constantly double booked or book with wrong doctor. Always very rude when dealing with a situation. I have been going here to 2 years almost 2-3 times a month and If it wasn't for the actual doctor being helpful I would never step foot in that clinic again.

First and foremost contrary to the reviews about front staff I had a 5 star experience with Cash a bright young compassionate girl at reception on checking in . Quick check in process.My first time with Dr Haroon imtiaz was beyond words .He is most thoughtful patient informative and offered many options to help with our concerns

I would give Old Scona Mesical clinic 0 stars if I could. I have been a patient here for 7 years but will be changing clinics and doctors due to the absolutely ridiculous level of incompetence. I have been trying for over a month to get a regular prescription of mine refilled but the first 2 times I called back in February I waited on a ringing line for over 15 minutes before the call was hung up on from the clinic end. The second time I get an answer after 7 minutes of waiting. No in person appointments until the end of April. I need my prescription filled before Mach 15th... Earliest phone appointment not until March 25th. Ok fine I guess I have to take it. Doctor calls today but phone stops ringing before I can pick up, call immediately back and I'm left on a ringing line for another 20 minutes. Finally someone picks up, I explain the situation and all the receptionist does is ask my name and says ok

The doctor is very helpful with assisting us with my sons paper requirements for his diagnosis . Their front desk staff are the sweetest front desk and their supervisor is so nice to assist me to further assist in my query .

Terrible front desk service. My partner is a patient here (I tried also becoming a patient, they said they weren't accepting more.) They were the closest location to our home and with us not having a vehicle, it was all about convenience. We had just recently moved to BC and no clinic is accepting patients right now so I had to call Strathcona Clinic for a phone appointment to get a refill on my partner's medication. I have been on hold for the last hour that they have been open for, and there is absolutely no way they are this busy. I have been inside the clinic on weekdays and weekends, the MOST they have for business is 2-3 people. Dr Rtemi is a great doctor, but I would not recommend going to him unless you want to deal with the unfriendly, uninviting, terrible front desk receptionists.

My favourite clinic to go too by far. The front desk service was very friendly and did their best to help my son out. I also spoke to layla who helped me with any future appointments needed.

Been coming here as needed for nearly 10 years on/off. As a rule, i only come here if absolutely needed (very sick/injured, but not quite that you’d be seen in ER)Its a busy clinic, so wait times are quite long. I can probably count on one hand that number of times I’ve come without waiting at least 2.5 hours (i recall waiting about 4 a few times).It’s tough since there is little to indicate how long you will be waiting. Some patients have scheduled appointments but may appear like walk-ins. Although i have had scheduled appointments here before and still had to wait for my scheduled appointment.Doctors are okay. They get right to the point, but can’t take much time with you with the demand. Which is a bit frustrating given how long you wait, and wanting to make sure you get a thorough examination.Staff are kind enough, but also incredibly busy so it can be hard to approach.Doctors are incredibly booked, so something as simple as a medical consultations from lab results are hard to get in timely manner.

I had a terrible experience with the front desk. Entering my ahc# incorrectly on sheet i took to dynalife. Had to go back to clinic to get another sheet. Went back to dynalife and she had entered info incorrectly again. Then tryed to blame these mistakes on me. I was dealing with lady at front desk who was helping me and the other receptionist started to make me feel stupid because i made appointment but it was over the phone!! They never said anything about the phone,needed to see doctor in person. The doctor i finally talked with was great and very helpful. Do not go to this location!!

Medical professionals are sworn to do no harm.Lying to patients and moving the goal posts, like by being closed to walk-ins always just an hour before you get there no matter what time you arrived and no matter your problem, is doing harm.All the other reviewers who say they have done this are correct.It is also false advertising, claiming to take walk-ins and new patients when you do neither.I am not a new patient. I have gone here multiple times over the years. They do not care. I cannot see a doctor here anymore and they lie and move the goal posts. I can see a doctor if I only do X.I do X. Sorry we meant Y. Rinse and repeat.Do not go here. They will not help you.They will be dishonest, and if even the front desk lies with a straight face, can you really trust the doctors?

The doctor I see is lovely, and very intelligent, but this place seems short staffed and like some staff could be trained better. Perhaps a new clinic manager would be beneficial. I had an appointment moved and part of the optional add ons for a physical were missed by the person who moved the appointment. When the doctor finished the exam, I asked what about x? and it was not in the appointment notes. The doctor was really kind and got me in to do the test anyways that same visit. I had a really great experience with one staff member my first visit and the two subsequent visits were not so good. The person at the front was working alone in a busy clinic and seemed frustrated and overwhelmed (mind you there was a flood that morning) but I’m not sure why they were working alone (maybe someone was sick?). This is when errors start to happen and service dwindles. I also watched this person turn down walk ins but fit someone in they knew personally (all within earshot) as a friend of the family. That seems a little shady to me. Hopefully this clinic can figure it out as there is lots of potential here for good service to be in place. I need a doctor and like the one I see here so will continue to go here for now. Fingers crossed for this place.Their hours are strange too - I called today to inquire about results around 11 (open 10-5) and the answering machine said the clinic was closed.Edit- I got a call telling me my results are in but now I have to wait two weeks to find out the results? This seems like a money grab to book extra appointments. Most clinics in the past have told me if everything is ok and have only booked a follow up if there is news to tell me. I will check my results online I guess.
