A cool pub that allows kids until 8pm with lots of tv's and good Caesars. Fast service a excellent menu. And the kind of place a person could have lots of drinks. A overall good atmosphere and good staff to.

Great place! Big windows on three sides, big screen televisions everywhere, a mix of tables, high-tops and bar seats, and great music. Menu has a good variety of interesting twists on all the pub favourites, and of course, good selection of local brews and crafts.

Always a good place to go for Gluten Free wings & Twisted Salad! They have a lot of stuff that is gluten free, and I'm really hoping they get a gluten free dessert on the menu soon. It's coming, I'm sure!

Food and service was great, a well chosen selection of local beers. The IPA was very good, steak was cooked correctly, cinnamon pirogies were a hit.Only complaint was the noise, even at half capacity it was really tough to hear each other at our 4 person table. Let alone when it hit full capacity.Recommendations for noise issue: to put up some acoustic panelling around the walls to breakup the sound from travelling so much (they make them where you can put pictures on them). Also recommend to either partition the seating areas or use hanging acoustic panels for sound control. (primacoustic or another brand).

Amazing food and service!! A must try restaurant! I had pulled pork sliders and a bbq bourbon sandwich, delicious! Plus, the local beer was fantastic! We will be back for sure!

The food service was extremely slow. We did have a larger group but took an hour and a half for the last people to get their food. Food was good once we got it. Would be good for a group of 4 or 5 people but would not recommend for larger group. Was very surprised to see an 18% gratuity automatically added on the bill.

What a great dinner destination. We were told of this restaurant by a friend and it did not disappoint. Start with the mini beef sliders, delicious. I had the tropical chicken sandwich, yummy with the grilled pineapple. My wife had the yorkshire pudding wrap, she loved it. Whatever you do, you MUST HAVE dessert. The sticky toffee pudding is probably the best I have ever had, comes out warm with ice cream in a cast iron skillet, my wife had the twisted key lime pie, best of all, they are made in house. All in all, service was exceptional, we sat out on the patio, just don't be alarmed when you hear the train whistle.

We were travelling home to Calgary from Edmonton, we wanted to find a place to grab some lunch. Not expecting much, we found the Twisted Lizard in Carstairs and decided to take a chance on it being okay. We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked in to see the clean, upscale, and comfortable interior. The menu is unique with funny Inserts playing off the lizard theme. The food was fantastic. Our server was very personable and professional. Highly recommend a visit - even if you're not strapped for a place to grab food!

Food was really good. My moms 89th bday was mentioned and was disappointed that she never received a that’s great or a happy birthday greeting.
