Words cannot describe how incredible, patient, organized, and kind Harry is. My partner and I live out of province and wondered if planning a wedding from far away would be difficult, but Harry made it SO easy and seamless that we were left wondering why anyone gets stressed when planning their wedding!From our first meeting with Harry to discuss what they offer at Rocky Mountain Elopements, we knew that Harry was *the one* for us. He provided us with suggestions and had an awesome attitude that made us feel like all of our wildest dreams would come true and that he would take care of it. All communication was fantastic and so easy. Harry sent us a list of vendors to choose from, which saved us the trouble of having to look into all of the vendors that exist in the area and narrowing them down ourselves. All of the vendors that we used were great! Harry was very encouraging and supportive of all of the aspects we wanted to add (i.e., party bus transportation, cake, videographer), and he found options and booked them for us. Our family and friends are also huge fans of him and he is still often brought up in conversation, months later.I am a very organized person, and I was so impressed and overjoyed with how organized Harry is and how easy he made our wedding day, and the months leading up to it. He created a schedule for us so that we knew where we had to be, when, and he was there to make sure that we stuck to the plan. The night before our wedding, he came to our hotel to pick up and drop off a few things, and was there in the morning with our cake, bouquet, and boutonniere! I feel so lucky that I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. On top of that, it was the coolest, most incredible wedding day ever. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better day!

We got engaged in the middle of the third wave of the pandemic, and knew that the traditional wedding with lots of guests, was simply out of the question. At first, we were debating going to city hall, making it official and carrying on. However, one night we stumbled upon Rocky Mountain Elopement. As we are both big into skiing, and being outdoors… especially close to lakes, this crazy idea of eloping in Alberta, really had us excited! We reached out to the company and quickly heard back from Kristin.That next week we scheduled a first meeting, and met Kristin (virtually of course). During this meeting she was so warm, kind and knowledgeable and really engaged both myself and my partner to determine what we both wanted from our wedding day. That next day we received a breakdown of the various packages we could select from (obviously with a ton of customization).Over the months leading up to the wedding, we received a vendor list, and were in constant communication with Kristin. I really appreciated that even through the business of wedding season, Kristin was great at getting back to us and keeping us on track from a planning perspective.Fast forward to 3 weeks before our wedding. We were due to get married at Peyto Lake (which had been closed for construction, due to open at the end of August). Unfortunately, construction was pushed, so our venue was no longer going to be an option. This was obviously a disappointment, but there was nothing we could do. We reached out to both Kristin, and Lindsay (photographer extraordinaire with Rocky Mountain Photo Co.) and scheduled a meeting to discuss alternate ceremony locations. I think this call really set the stage for the amazingness that was going to come, both Kristin and Lindsay helped us choose a new venue (which was WAY cooler than the original plan). We left that phone call feeling incredibly excited, and so supported by both Kristin and Lindsay.We headed out to Alberta a few days before our wedding. We had to go to the wedding registry to pick up our certificate. Even this process was made so much easier because of Rocky Mountain Elopements. We met Harry (also works at Rocky Mountain) at the registry, picked up our certificates, and Harry took them back to Kristin, so we wouldn’t have to worry about forgetting them on our wedding day. That same day we happened to be staying at the same hotel as Kristin and Lindsay, so we met quickly to discuss any last-minute details. I loved so much that they were just as excited about our day as we were.Finally, Sept. 27th, our wedding day! Lindsay and Kristin were coordinator pros, from getting us both ready (in the same hotel room) without spoiling the first look, having an amazing ‘first-look’, and getting us on our way to the venue. I think what makes Lindsay and Kristin so special, is that they felt like old friends. One thing I worried about by eloping was feeling alone on our wedding day, especially when getting ready. This was most certainly not the case!The ceremony itself, was magic (even though it was quite chilly with 60km/hr gusts!). There was even a chance to have our first dance (a suggestion by Kristin/Lindsay). Kristin & Lindsay are experts, and made sure every little part of the day calumniated to an experience that we will not ever forget. Side note – Lindsay as a photographer, 10 outta 10! We have our sneak peek photos and I look at them on the daily!For other couples that are deciding to forego the traditional wedding, Kristin & Lindsay are hands down the duo that you need. We booked Kristin’s coordination services through Rocky Mountain Elopements and Lindsay’s photography through Rocky Mountain Photo Co. for our October 2022 elopement. We could not be happier with our decision.From our initial meeting with Kristin, we immediately felt at ease. Kristin seemed just as excited about our elopement as we were and made sure to really understand our needs and preferences to make sure that everything was just how we wanted it.Based on what we described, Kristin provided us with several locations for us to choose from for where to get married and take pictures. We ended up selecting the Lake Louise package and adding photography coverage for Peyto Lake.She also provided us with a list of recommended vendors and did all the bookings and coordination. Kristin kept us up-to-date about all vendor bookings and was able to quickly resolve issues when some vendors had to cancel or were unavailable on our elopement date.Kristin was always responsive to all of our questions and emails in the months leading up to our elopement and made us feel at ease knowing everything was taken care of.We met with Kristin again virtually closer to our elopement date to go over all the details for the day of. We had never been to the Rockies so she even provided suggestions for appropriate clothing and footwear for that time of year. She even had contingency plans in case of bad weather.A day before the elopement, we met with Kristin at the registry office to pick up our marriage certificate, where she had everything pre-organized so we just had to sign the forms.Oh the big day, after picking up our flowers, Kristin and Lindsay came right up to our hotel room and helped us get ready. Kristin kept us on track and coordinated with the officiant and valet to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was also key in making sure my dress and veil were situated for each photo, even having to run and duck out of shots at times! We truly appreciate her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and friendliness which made our day truly special.Kristin went above and beyond any expectations we may have had to ensure everything was just how we wanted it on our elopement day. We would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Elopements to anyone who is thinking of getting married in the Canadian Rockies!

AMAZING!!! That is the first word that comes to mind when I think about our experience working with our wedding planner, Harry Homan-Green with Rocky Mountain Elopements--and quite honestly I don't think amazing" even says enough about the incredible job Harry did to make our day beyond magical! My Wife and I wanted a stress free minimal planning required small intimate wedding. We came across his website and couldn’t believe how detailed all the information was. We read other great reviews and decided to go with Harry. The entire process was fantastic, we had the most perfect private Rocky Mountain wedding experience. Harry took care of everything and made our day as easy as it could be. Would 100% recommend if you are looking to elope in the Rocky Mountains.

Kristin was wonderful from day one up until the day of the wedding. She made everything easy and took all of the stress out of planning. She was extremely helpful and accommodating in every way. Kristen, our planner was absolutely a star in helping us plan everything which made our special day even more memorable. From booking an officiant to even the cup cakes, everything was organized by her. She made our journey from planning to the actual wedding day an absolute breeze with even accommodating virtual attendees from over 4 countries via zoom. Harry and the team at RMWE are nothing short of fantastic!My husband and I got engaged in a chaotic time for me as a healthcare worker. Trying to plan a wedding then was overwhelming. All we knew was that we wanted an intimate, mountain wedding (very different from traditionally larger weddings of our culture).Harry took care of us from the get go! We initially wanted an elopement, but when we decided to have a full wedding and reception with ~50 guests, Harry did not miss a beat. He gave us vendor recommendations, specifically for photography, hair and make-up; and we were also able to incorporate vendors we had from Edmonton. Each vendor he recommended was so kind, talented, and professional on our wedding day. They all made sure our vision was realized - particularly our photographer who was phenomenal!Harry is a busy man, but communication with him was great. The emails and video conferences were a good way to get updates, and he was easily accessible via text for quick questions or things that required a little more urgency.He and the team were friendly and accommodating, and always made us feel like the most important people. When they plan so many weddings, it's amazing that they find a way to make every couple feel special! Harry found creative solutions when something we wanted couldn't work (eg our reception space couldn't fit a spot for a first dance, so he recommended that we do one immediately after our ceremony on a mountain side - which turned out even better!).Our wedding day was a dream come true! Because of RMWE, my husband and I, with our loved ones, got to enjoy the whole experience with no worries about set-up, tear-down, etc. If there were any crises, no one ever let on because the day was seamless.We have received so many compliments from our guests about how lovely and intimate our wedding was. My husband and I got married in Banff on Valentine’s Day this year with the help of Rocky Mountain Elopements. From the very first Zoom meeting with Harry, we felt totally comfortable and like our elopement was in the right hands. Harry made the process entirely stress free, even though we were organising our special day from across the world. It seriously felt like all we had to do was show up as Harry had taken care of everything. Harry was attentive to our needs and wishes, and all of our chosen vendors were perfect. We can’t thank Harry enough for everything, including making our elopement a day we will never forget.

All of them sent questions, flyers and information but didn't chat or had any contact with us.When we contacted RME they automatically scheduled a video call. There, we met Harry and we discussed what we wanted and how we imagined it.
