Boated at around 9pm. Highly recommend - the lights on the Ferris wheel and the surrounding shops really made the port come alive. Nice low stakes way to stay in shape. The boats were a little old but overall fun experience.

Nice place, quality attraction, book online, terrible parking in the area, poor direction and crowd control.

Horrible experience. The boat had small flies sitting on the seat and due to the stagnant water, they refused to budge. The boats are also quite worn out and the guiding system to move left or right doesn’t work well. Before embarking, it is required to give your drivers license as a deposit which we forgot to pick up after boating and it’s been over 3 weeks but they haven’t mailed it back to us in Ontario even after following up since the day we left it there. Quite a slack I say. Save yourself some time and energy and don’t go boating here and do something else instead.Update: received license after 3weejs. Thank goodness!

Nice place to hang out with family or friends with few BUTs:Boats are a bit old and uncomfortable to peddle, especially for tall people.Price is fairly okay for Old Port.Not secure for kids sitting at the back as boat doesn't feel stable.Overall okay to try once.

A cute little tourist activity in the stunning Old Port of Montreal. The location is great as there is a lot to do here. Sure the boat is restricted to a small area, but still nice, especially for kids who enjoy the gimmick. A little pricey at $40 per hour but If you are visiting Montreal (or even local) be sure to check out the combo deals with the Grande Roue, SOS Labyrinth, Voiles en Voiles, quadricycle and others.

Kids loved the experience so much they demanded that we return. So we boated twice and they are asking for the third time. Staff was friendly, getting the boat was quick. The paddle boat itself is a bit light, so an adult overweights 2 kids and the boat is harder to set a straight course, but the kids enjoyed our resulting spiral-like trajectory and had fun. While I think it was somewhat expensive for the experience, it is something active to do for 30 minutes, and it is economical compared to other activities at Old Port. It would be cool if on the exit the staff gave the kids some stars or high fives or whatever for good navigation or being a captain of the boat ( here is an idea for you guys!) - but as I said, we liked paddleboating there anyway!

it's really nice to have that in the old port! it's expensive though, but it's like everything in the old port. (canal atwater are 15$ cheaper)

The steering handle was broken - the screw came out. When we came back to the dock, I told the kid working and he literally didn't even reply. Didn't care. Didn't check it. AVOID. Not safe.
