Ian is experienced and informed. He knows the right spots and can adapt to any situation. Going around to take photos with Ian was an experience initself and we had the best time exploring with him. He allowed us to feel relaxed and casual. It’s unbelievable how well he captured our alternative little elopement. What I personally found really special was the knowledge he shared about the land, nature, and first nations. Just above & beyond kind of work and it really made our day fantastic. Essentially, you can’t go wrong choosing Ian as your photographer.

Hello, overall we had a wonderful experience with Ian. Very easy and not complicated. He was able to gain our trust from the first few emails, phone calls, prior to and during our big day. We appreciated a lot Ian's flexibility throughout the day and he was very generous of his time too.

We got married in October and a week before our wedding our first photographer had to cancel. Ian was amazing and put all of our worries to bed, with 1 week to go. I am so glad that he was able to capture our day. He was professional, yet fun and made the whole day relaxing and enjoyable. Some of the best memories of our day where taking the photos. For someone that doesn't like their photo being taken, it was one of the funnest memories of my day. The photos we received were beautiful, and my husband & I love them all! As neither of our families were able to join us for our special day, having these photos to show them was really important. Prior to the wedding Ian was at the end of a text message or phone call, and gave us some great tips on how to announce our elopement. His knowledge of the local area, and his ideas were great. My husband and i would highly recommend him for any photos that you need doing. Thank you again Ian for being part of our day.

I could not have imagined a better elopement experience. Ian was incredibly relaxed, and that helped us to relax and have a lot of fun.What is more, Ian is a true artist. Not only is Ian an extremely talented photographer but he’s a wonderful person to deal with. Came across his work 3 years ago when both my friend and I loved an image displayed in Ucluelet. My friend won out on buying it but I continued to compare other images to his. With all that’s been going on the last couple years, I decided if I couldn’t get to Tofino/Ucluelet I wanted to bring a bit of it to me. Just looking at it you are transported to the mystical forces of nature on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. The island holds a special place in my heart and that particular area is always a highlight. Thanks for bringing a piece of it to me.
