Finding a female artist was a bonus, finding a female artist that masters fine lining was even better! Vanessa was very detail oriented when placing my tattoo, she offered rest and water, she was so personable and so funny! Vanessa KNOWS what she is talking about when it comes to colors, design and layout. She walked me through her cleaning instructions and aftercare, and even sent me a digital copy when I accidentally dropped my copy at her location. I honestly couldn't be happier after my first session! My friends are completely obsessed with it (as am I), I am so so so pumped for my next session with her! I will definitely be going back to her for future tattoos! 5 stars. Highly recommend.

5* for piercer Sarah Valentine. I went to see Sarah for a jewelry change on my daith and a check up on my recently done flat and conch piercing done by another piercer. She gave great aftercare advice and helped me choose jewelry without pressure. I did not even feel the jewelry change and I was a tad worried about my stubborn daith curve barbell but she made the switch seamlessly. Will be back for future piercings.

We brought our daughter up from SJ to have her ears pierced by Ashley. Everything that you hear about her is true! The studio is clean. The atmosphere is chill. Ashley is amazing with kids. She showed us every piece of packaging used for the piercing process, including expiry dates.We had a whole hour for the piercing appointment, and we were glad to have it. The first ear went great, then it took most of the rest of the appointment time to get the other one done. We couldn't go home looking like a pirate, right? In the end, we were the ones who had to push a little harder for our daughter to complete the other ear. Ashley was so great at just giving our daughter the space she needed. Our daughter was super comfortable with Ashley and even though the piercing part itself hurt, she was all smiles at the end!If we could give a bazillion stars, we would.

This is my go to place for tattoos and piercings. The vibe of this place and the staff is amazing. The rooms are spotless and every time I have works done everything is sterile and my experiences are always relaxed and calm.

Great shop! Sarah pierced my tongue and she did amazing! She checked to see where it would fit best on my tongue with regards to where my tongue naturally bends, and even asked about my long term intentions of if I’m planning to stretch it, as that would impact where she’d place it. Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Overall a great environment, private and sterile, and disability friendly. Quick and easy, and done with jewellery that’s actually safe for your body! Couldn’t have asked for a better piercer and I’ll definitely be returning and recommending her to friends.

I had such an amazing experience at scarlet ink studio, Vanessa made me feel very comfortable and she was beyond gentle. Good experience all around with starting my gorgeous half sleeve that I’m in love with! Can’t wait to go back and get it all finished and to do so many more tattoo ideas with her! Definitely recommend this studio! Also a big thing I want to mention is the artistic skill is unbelievable, she worked with me to make my sleeve idea come to life and made it even better than I ever could’ve ever imagined!
