Came here in August to see Henry V, and it was incredible. The ambiance is perfect for Shakespeare with the forests and the cliffs and access to the sky. It would be a great place for dark rituals.

The theater is outdoors, which means that bugs and uncontrollable temperatures are unavoidable. It also only has a simple wooden platform for a stage, and there is no seating which means that you have to bring your own chair and/or blanket. However, I personally have never been a fan of wooden benches and liked that I could bring something more comfortable to sit on. We were also in a very lovely little area, and once it got dark enough we started seeing bats. The play itself was very enjoyable, and the people putting it on were very nice and accommodating. The mosquitoes were totally worth it.

I come here every year for the Shakespeare Festival. Love their performing space, absolutely beautiful!
