Hands down one of the best SriLankan southern cuisine shops in town. Not your typical Tamil restaurant. If you are craving for Sinhala/ Colombo style rice and curries including mango, polos, fish, potatoes, acharu etc., this is the place to visit. Their pol rotti, wattalapan and kiribath are also amazing. The weekend special tray is a generous portion for two. Highly recommend!!

Ordered mutton kothu roti and the Jaffna fries. So delicious and prices were very affordable! Everything was well seasoned and portions were generous. Staff were very friendly and kind.Can’t wait to return to try more off their menu!

We catered from Steamboat for a special event and chose a variety of items. All items were delicately prepared with best ingredients, care and authentic taste. This has been one of the best catering experiences we have experienced in a long time and the owner went above and beyond to ensure all items were prepared accurately and delivered on time. The quantity and flavour was ample. Cannot wait to try more items from this gem of a place. Thank you for your exception service.

I ordered 1 mutton kothu and 2 chicken Dolphin through uber eats and spent around 68$ for it. Mutton kothu was very bad and it was burnt. Dolphin was so spicy and there was no chicken at all. When i spoke to a worker he literally asked if I was from jaffna and colombo? Like he was so racist. I had the bad experience with them and i highly recommend not to try out their dolphin. Workers were very rude and they did not agree that the kothu war burnt.
