Metro Detroit Tree and Firewood

After moving into our new home we knew that project #1 was to clean up the backyard. We received multiple quotes from different companies, and ultimately went with Metro Detroit Tree. Were there companies that provided a cheaper quote? Sure. That said, those companies did not provide me the same comfort around getting the job done correctly and professionally with the assurances that Metro Detroit Tree and Firewood did. Their crew was extremely respectful of mine and my neighbors' yards and the work they did was extremely professional. They really have it down to a science and Jose and his crew run like a well oiled machine. In our specific case we had to have a piece of fence taken down and our neighbors yard used to get the stump grinder in. They carefully took down the fence (which has rotting posts) and put it back up. In the most recent wind storm (yesterday), it fell down. Jose and his crew were out here within hours of my call with a chain saw and hammer putting that piece of fencing back up as he took full responsibility for his work and everything they touched. He treated it like it was his own house. I've included some before and after photos. They completely cleared out our new home's yard, which included stump grinding on 20-some trees, including two big Maples. Again, I can't recommend them enough if you're looking to have tree work done. Thanks to Jose and his crew!

I would highly recommend this company, first because I feel like Jose really knows and cares about the trees. They have completed many projects for me over the last couple years. The prices are very fair and I’m always very happy with the job done and clean up.

Metro was excellent! The entire process was painless. I struggled to get in contact with most trimming companies in the area but they were responsive, punctual, and transparent - they provided a copy of their insurance with my quote. I really appreciated the level and quality of communication before the scheduled trim. More importantly, they arrived when they said they would and the entire Metro team moved as an efficient machine to trim the tree. We were so impressed. I could not be happier with the quality of service. I recommend these folks to anyone who needs tree work!

I received two quotes to cut down two medium sized trees in my backyard. Metro Detroit’s quote was several hundred dollars less. They showed up on time and completed the job in less than an hour. They were efficient and friendly. All backyard furniture was returned to exactly where it was and cleanup was spotless. Highly recommend Jose and his team!!

We have used MDT&F a couple of times now for some trimming in our backyard. They are fast, professional and very reasonably priced - the second time we needed work done I didn't bother calling anyone else for a quote because I knew they'd be the best. I won't hesitate to call them again.

Needed a large pine tree trimmed. Reached out to Jose and was able to schedule service promptly. Jose and the crew arrived when they said they would, and got the tree cleaned up exactly how I wanted it. The job was done quickly and the crew did an amazing job that I am happy with. Unlike many of the other tree companies I contacted, Metro Detroit Tree was on time to their appointment and very easy to deal with. They took down a huge tree in my front yard with ease. I really liked that they used a crane to lower the pieces and they were extremely careful with my lawn and flower beds. After they were done (did I mention they worked VERY fast?) they did a great job cleaning up the woodchips from the grass, the sidewalk and the street. Aside from the missing tree, you cannot tell they were here. Great people to work with, I cannot recommend them enough. Metro Detroit Tree went above and beyond my expectations without having to be asked or reminded. They set the standard for how other companies should treat their customers.
