Three times a year I drive an hour to get the best ice cream east of Montreal.First trip of the year did not disappoint.Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and the flavours never disappoint.A must if you are living on, or visiting PEI

Yummy locally sourced ingredients to make various ice cream served in a cup or waffle cone/bowl! We tried vanilla, chocolate, raspberry lemon sorbet, coffee mocha and caramel machiato flavors!

Have lived on PEI for years, married to an Islander. Today we were in Summerside doing errands when I craved an old-fashioned NY ice cream soda. Holman’s came up in my search.Amazing flavors. They offer root beer floats, but not US-style ice cream sodas.No worries! I got a turtle sundae, with caramel sauce, hot fudge and salted caramel ice cream!!!Wow!!! Charming historic building. Amazing service. Patient and friendly ice cream counter staff!!! Yummm!!!!

One word: AMAZING!!Completely worth the visit - likely the best I’ve cream on the island!Very fun flavours that change frequently (like dragonfruit)Not too much to do in the town of Summerside, but if you’re driving in this direction worth having some ice cream

I’m from New Brunswick so I was just visiting for the weekend and I heard of this place from a family friend. Had a wonderful experience and service here. The place inside was so lovely as well. The ice cream was so delicious way better than Cows. Would definitely recommend!

Holman's Ice Cream Parlour
I really wanted to love Holman's ice cream because I love to support local. The building and surrounding garden (complete with seating and fire pit) is beautiful. The heritage home has a very grand feeling and houses the business well. The staff were very friendly. However, the ice cream itself is lackluster. The selection of flavors was limited and the ice cream was not rich and creamy like I'd expect a homemade ice cream to be. In my opinion, it was just OK... I wouldn't rush back.

The building is historic and the grounds are beautifully landscaped with seating to enjoy your ice cream.We had scoop of Salted Caramel & scoop of Honey Comb Crunch in waffle cone ($5) and scoop of Mango Raspberry sorbet in a cup ($3.50.)The ice creams and the sorbet were good but I've had better Salted Caramel elsewhere on PEI!

Best small-batch ice cream, waffle cones and bowls, and made-in-house bagged Chocolate English Toffee! We bought a bag after tasting it in an ice cream flavour intending to bring it home but ended up eating every scrumptious piece during our stay in Summerside. We also recommend ordering The Sampler in order to taste more ice cream flavours. And my favorites? The chocolate (made with dark chocolate) and pistachio (made with finely chopped nuts and no artificial green coloring): magnificent! And such a beautiful and historic building and location to boot!

Holman's Ice Cream Parlour
Absolutely THE BEST ice cream you can find on PEI. Flavours are rotated often so you always have to keep an eye on their Facebook page, but it is 150% worth it. The staff is super pleasant and the parlour itself has so much character. 100/10 recommend.(Ate most of my ice cream before I thought to snap a picture, of course)

Holman's Ice Cream Parlour
The waffle cone was the best I’ve ever had. Thin and not too sweet, complements the ice cream nicely. The day we went didn’t have the flavours I wanted but it still tasted good. There are many tables inside to enjoy the ice cream. The outdoor garden is beautiful as well.
