The Adventure Hotel
The staff is super friendly, from the time we check in up until the time we check out. The room is functional, and clean, and had an amazing view of the lake and the mountains (#111). The hotel is very well-located in Nelson's downtown, close to everything we needed.

Super clean, friendly and very charming place with beautiful views! Air conditioning in the unit with a comfy bed and updated bathroom. Plenty of parking in the back with a bar and steakhouse attached to the hotel. Well worth staying here!

The Adventure Hotel
I know they don't like being referred to as a party hotel but some of their guests disagree! My first night I had to listen to talking and laughing until 2:30 am from a room somewhere nearby. Also they DO have a roof unit that in some rooms is very loud. The first time I heard it I thought it was a train. Thin walls - I had a snorer next to me one night. Recommend ear plugs at the very least. Staff is very friendly!

Great hotel at an affordable price. The shared showers are super clean. The location is perfect. I only remove a star because the walls are thin and it can get loud. Having said this, I will for sure stay here again!

Great dog-friendly hotel! The room was clean and spacious and staff were very friendly (towards both humans and dogs!). There was a communal lounge area with a sink, microwave, shared fridge, blender and coffee/tea supplies. This hotel has no elevator or ground floor rooms and is not very accessible for people with mobility challenges.

I would give a 5* but very disappointed to discover that they charge 25.00 a night for a pet, never heard of that before. The hotel booking sites state pet friendly, but showed up from out of town to discover I had to pay more for my dog. The hotel should be telling all 3rd party sites to state that they charge for dogs to sleep on the floor there. Didn't even drink there, the staff in the bar were not friendly at all.

This place is great! Everyone we interacted with was super nice. The coffee in the AM was fresh and delicious. The bed was really comfortable, like really really comfortable. Room was clean. Amenities were good. Nothing but good things to say. Also left something in the room and they arranged to ship it home to us. Would defiantly recommend and will for sure stay again if ever in the area.

Outstanding place to stay in Nelson! Old building lovingly renovated, GREAT rooms. Sports bar downstairs, also steak restaurant as well. Common room"/kitchen on second floor with same basic cooking facilities for those packing their own chow. RIGHT in downtown Nelson

Just stayed 3 nights in a queen room and it was lovely. Comfy bed, great shower, cool decor. Only downside - the first night there were people in the adjoining room" and we could hear every word and pee and giggle. Even at 1am. I would suggest if the hotel has rooms available
