Had breakfast when traveling through 100 Mile House at Smitty’s. There didn’t seem to be too many breakfast options, but Smittys was very busy so we decided to go in.The omelettes were very substantial, I could not finish mine. The other breakfast/brunch dishes were big portions too. Definitely good bang for your buck.In terms of flavour, it’s very cozy home-made/diner feel. What you’d get from your in-law’s home for breakfast.Service was quick, and food came out fast as well.

Bad disgusting unattractive food. I got served eggs with eyelashes on the top, with raw belgium waffles for $40. Low quality food. We left after being served. Bad food.

This used to be well ran. My latest experience was less than pleasant. About 5 servers circling and too many asking if everything is ok. When I finally got my meal.... A side of scrambled" eggs shown here is what I got. Another server came around and asked if my meal was ok so I politely said

Good food, great service and atmosphere. Your best kind of family comfort zone kinda place where it’s ok if the kids are a little bit loud as these are the kinda folks that roll with it. Room full of people laughing and enjoying the company of each other.

I came by on my way back from a cabin vacation, in pajama pants with 3 dirty kids. Glad I found it as I will stop on each pass. It was extremely busy at noon. The staff were not affected, didn't skip a beat. They were wonderful! Each person on the floor helped us, including the fella cleaning tables. The meal was great as well. I understand why the tables were full!
