McMichael Gallery Shop

A nice and secluded art gallery that rotates about 7000 pieces of art.Most prominent pieces include the Group of 7 that are frequently featured.The staff here is very friendly and are ready to answer any questions.The location of the gallery also has stunning views of the nature outside.There is also a nice gift shop that features alot of pieces in the gallery as prints to take home.There is also a very nice and affordable restaurant.And finally there is a nice park and some trails to explore on its ground outside that also frequently feature art installations.Overall it is a nice place to visit with friends and family, especially when there is a promotion for free entry into the gallery that happens about once a month.

A well stocked shop where you can find all sorts of gifts: jewellery, kids toys, t-shirts, art prints, mugs, calendars, note cards and more.

I am sitting at home. The McMichael Gaiiery shop is open but the rest of the gallery is closed I order a Group of Seven calendar from the gallery every year.They give excellent service !

Very nice experience, the Art, facilities and grounds were gorgeous. The restaurant and gift shop were good with great service.

Great options of reprints.

Terrible customer service. My sister bought an item from the store after finishing the exhibits, which were great. However, she was double charged due to an issue with the payment machine. Instead of refunding her after she showed the double charge on her phone, they made her call her bank, which was a 60min wait so she hung up. The manager was called and they said accounting department deals with this so call back tomorrow. No apology or even eye contact by the manager and we just left the store kinda confused. The next few days there was no answer from the gift shop as they said it was closed, even though the website showed it was open, and the bank confirmed it was a double charge. Normally you’d just give the customer the benefit of the doubt after they show proof and it’s a 5min resolution. Instead they’ve turned it into a 5-day back and forth which is very inconvenient. Terrible store policy, even worse customer service.

Wonderful experience in the art centre. It has a good collection of the oil paintings of the seven Canadian artists.
