Hotel Citadelle

The receptionist/owner is very rude and unprofessional.They have trailers which the rent as room under motel descriptions.Charges double prices and take undue advantageIf u have women traveling with you, avoid them

This has been my worst experience so far. Booked it online and on arrival got Room outside the hotel in Motel. They have been doing this often. Charging you money for Hotel and giving you Motel rooms. Feels like something gishy going on in terms of rooms and availability. On top the manager yelled and threatened to charge double the price using my credit card info. Not recommended for anyone.Worst Customer service and ever

Well my husband called the hotel on May 28,2022 to ask questions and book a room. It was in the evening, he said he was busy and would call back. We eventually booked the room and got a confirmation email on May 29. We get to hotel July 1st the guy tells us the hotel is full and we do not have a reservation. I show him the email outlining room and rate etc. But he said they have nothing. We had driven for 6 or so hours and were tired. I tried finding another hotel but everything was full. I went back up to the desk and said is there any cancellations or someone not showing up. The phone did not ring, no one came by but all of a sudden they had a cancellation. The same type of room we were booked for. So we took it. However it was now a higher cost. I asked why we booked at lower rate, to which the guy responded yes but I don’t see your reservation. I said well you sent us the email confirming the room and rate now you are giving us the same type of room but higher because you goofed up. He said that the rate is the days rate. Anyway we paid because we were tired. The room was musty smelling, beds were comfy, room was like from the 70s. Not sure if that is a con going on but if you send out a confirmation email with a hotel reservation then I believe it should be honored

Looks really nice and clean looking from the web but it wasn't that case from my experience. Size of the room is good for my family (2 kids & 2 adults) but the room we check in wasn't so clean. The window was so dusty, the aircon was modern but it was also dusty and you can see some spider webs on it. The bathroom looks clean except the ceiling, there are some spider webs and some spots that looks like an oil spots (check out the photos) in addition to that, the bathroom door knob was so loose, didnt even bother fixing it. Overall, it wasn't the best hotel experience for me, thankfully we only stayed here for 1 night. They need to do a little bit of extra work on cleaning rooms and room service.

They say queen sized beds, but its more like a small double. Very small and uncomfortable. The room was tiny and half of the rooms are in the basement (they say 1st floor) with 1 small window with a view of the parking lot. It served it's purpose..cheap place to sleep, but you get what you pay for.

100% legit & leasure kind of Hotel. It is actually better than Hotel..It's so quiet and tranquil, the owners and along staff are extremely kindhearted. Surrounding area is full of attractions and grocery possibilities. Hotel Citadelle is VERY Clean and maintained carefully. Prices are Quite Reasonable compared to the near by businesses. I'm very pleased I stay in this Hotel and I'm Absolutely recommending this Hotel to check out. :)

HORRIBLE! this place is disgusting the bed has a white stain with hair and the wall had a handprint nothing works here the lights didn’t work well aswell and the desks had food crumbs. we can hear all the footsteps and everything that was happening in the other rooms. when we went to speak to the owner he was rude and arrogant and didn’t want to give us a refund or a at least a part of our money .. for ONE night it was 318$ he told us to leave if we weren’t happy . i will post pictures too!

Not a good experience. The heat controller wasn’t functioning properly. The room was extremely hot, even the air conditioning system wasn’t working as it was expelling warmer air even at 21 degree setting. I had to open the window to cool the room. Shower head was malfunctioning as the water flow was slow.

Some may say this is a very bad place and some may say 10/10 very good,I recommend but after sleeping here for a night with my parents I'll tell u all about it. I'm 15 and I slept here for a night.First thing. The door in my room didn't close and even when u close it, it could still be opened by the outside which made me super Paranoid.i stayed up all the night cuse I iwas scared of something being stolenwhile I was asleep .Second thing.its very nice and cozy.i feel like it needs to be upgraded because it feels like you in the 90s . overall I find it clean and I I chet everything before I used it.Third thing.i recommend everyone to always check before used or touching anyt in a hotel room, the lights need to be more brighter because it's not.Overall I recommend you sleeping inside the hotel and not outside also double check ur doors and see if there's any camera in the room or something. It's ur choice if u want to take the risk and sleep in this motel but anyway hope this was helpful.
