Props to BMO Bank of Montreal Bank of Montreal Ste-Catherine and Robert-Bourassa branch. The manager came to pick me out of the line to help accelerate service. He patiently listened to my laundry list of things I wanted to do financially, went through all the information with me and help me fix a bunch of things and apply to a USD credit card.He also put me in touch with their investment account manager, personal account manager (who helped me to transfer investments from the US by calling the US branch) and setup a meeting with their business accounts manager.I like how they let you see the operation screen when they're doing operations so you can make sure that everything is correct.Free Internet, seating areas, helpful and knowledgeable employees. No big windows separating the clients with the account managers.Light years ahead from the banking experience in China and the US.

worst service by any bank, it seems they are still in 90s time period where they are taking 15 business days to identify the interest rate applied to my account, went to open a new account with the promo interest rate, seems the branch is clueless and not able to verify the interest rate every month they give an excuse for the less interest rate stating that there had been changes in the offers, will close my account soon if I don't get the credit amount for the missed interest rates as promised by them

Don't go to this ATM, especially in winter (they lock the door so you can't go to the indoor ones, and the outdoor one is the filthiest ATM I've ever been to).

Poor customer service. Especially the guy from today, light blue shirt, possibly Indian with black hair and grey/blue eyes was unwelcoming. Made us stand in line for 10 min without telling us he was open, he would just stare at us. We only knew he was open when he let 2 people cut the line. Very disappointed.

The one ATM outside doesn’t even work

Oh, this is good. They posted a reply inviting me to email them at an account that bounced back because it doesn't appear to exist. This on a response to a complaint about poor communication. The most BMO thing ever....... The original...They don't communicate with you for any purpose other than making a sale. When applying for a loan at another bank, they wouldn't respond to requests for information. When a cheque I deposited didn't go through they stuck it in a drawer for the next time I came in, but didn't tell me. But they sure are eager to talk to me when they're trying to push another credit card (with fraudulent insurance of course).

The worst Bank I have ever encountered. Long wait times. The resolution center does not function properly. They are very conservative in their loaning practices, while other bank lend money easily. Strongly recommend you choose another bank.

BMO has been sending me someone else’s credit card correspondence for almost 2 years! They have the wrong address. I’ve returned all of the letters, plus I’ve called them numerous times to correct error. Nothing works! Considering this is a financial institution, this recklessness is unacceptable.

Being a customer for almost 12 years. And the experience not to be rude but was TRASH. Went there in April to change my plan and the person at the cash said sure no problem we will switch for you.Fast forward June I see BMO charges of 30$ for a plan I don’t have. I go to this Saint Catherine BMO to be talked to like a im worthless person by this young girl and that I’m to be blamed that they didn’t change the plan .Absolutely class-less saying that I need to read about plans and know the Canadian Laws of Banks (Like seriously saying that to someone who was customer for a long time ).All that because I asked For a 30$ refund for a plan I asked to be changed in April. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and being understandable,they rather lose a loyal customer with a high saving account and a good public reach.BMO is either blind by money but your service at this current location is absolute garbage and that’s the nicest way I could describe it. 2.2 out of 5 says a lot about what you value ( definitely not your customers experience & satisfaction). Hopefully a supervisor gets to read this and fix this branche.For consumers I’d recommend another branche or even another bank. If BMO doesn’t fix that, I’ll make sure to not recommend them to anyone in the future.
