Such a great find! Definitely has the friendly/neighborhood energy, and the place is very vibrant. Poutine tots are great and there are tons of Veggie (Beyond Meat) options to try out. Free popcorn is icing on the cake.Super easy to get to as well, with both streetcar and parking nearby.

We've come to Pennies a few times and absolutely love the vibe there. The atmosphere is great and the staff are fantastic, we had Sammy (Or sammie?) as our server and they were super friendly, and got us our food insanely fast.The prices they have on everything is really great for Toronto, and the drinks are a super reasonable price in comparison to other bars you might visit downtown.Food is small bite size portions which is super great cause my roommate and I have small appetites, and theres free popcorn. Overall a fantastic place to eat with friends. If you're just going as a group of 2 be prepared the share the large tables!

This was my first time. The sliders and tater tots combo was good I want to try some more of them, and the slushy margs were great, although the doubles were a bit suspiciously light. There’s a good buzz in the patio area and I imagine I will spend some time here over the summer. The servers were great, quick and friendly and the free popcorn is a nice touch!

Such a great vibe here and the both the meat and the beyond meat sliders were 10/10 amazing! Love that they have so many vegetarian options. Our server was so fun too. We can't wait to go back!

Awesome little place! It's almost always packed, but the vibe is so chill, and the staff are so friendly that I don't mind waiting for a while to get in. On Wednesdays, you can get all you can eat cheeseburgers, which is fantastic! There's also AYCE popcorn too. Strongly recommended. But make sure you plan ahead since it's going to be busy in the afternoons.

Cool vibes in Liberty Village (EDIT: neighbouring Liberty Village) - something that doesn’t feel like just another chain!The slides concept is great and makes things interesting.Great place to stop in on the way to the Ex or a Marlies/Argos/TFC game.

I've wanted to visit this place for a while since it looked so lively and fun and it really was. The food is good but nothing special really but for the price it is reasonable. The menu is great for shareables to get with drinks. They have a nice beer selection and delicious cocktails both of which are very reasonable priced. It's a great spot for a nice fun atmosphere for snacks and drinks with friends they also have free snacking popcorn!!!

Have been to pennies a few times now and its always good vibes and very busy when the sun is out! The service is great, special shout out to Lewis who was working behind the bar last time and was super quick with making our drinks, very attentive and helpful! The food is simple but always good & the combo no 5 is worth every penny! Would recommend pennies to anyone looking for a cool and quirky place to eat and drink, and lets not forget the unlimited free popcorn..
