Unsafe driver. FEB 1 2023 just north of north bay ontario, pulling trailer 2089. Snowy conditions, passed another truck up hill on double solid yellow line. Almost head on collision with oncoming truck who was coming over the crest of the hill, and didn't have time to react. If it wasn't for the truck he passed slamming on his brakes to let him in, someone would be dead today.

This company is the best in terms of reliability, their staff is very helpful and professional, also the drivers are friendly and very hard-working. Great place to be working with!

Your drivers need training, and your trucks should be governed. I was tailgated, highbeamed and beeped at on my way to the airport last night. I had no where else to go, but was still going 110 in the middle lane and when truck was able to, blew by me while I was still going 110 from the hammer lane. If someone from hemo wants it, I have a unit number for you - but being the trucks are not likely governed I imagine safety is not much of a priority for you?Edit: some time has passed since this review and I did not see the reply for some reason from the owner. I no longer have the truck number, but can tell you it was definitely a Hemo truck. The circumstance of this particular day was a grim one, dealing with a family situation/emergency and it was a particularly tough night and I wrote this review the next day in anger. I do not change my feelings toward the particular driver of that night but can't hold those feelings against the company as a result. Based on the below reply if I had received a notification at the time from google, I feel that we could have rectified this situation. Because of this, I am changing my rating to a 4 as I do not think it fair to the overall rating to the company based on the action of one.

Very unprofessional driver just about caused an accident because he has a me first attitude. Called customs and OPP

Great company to work for, wonderful owners, they have never made me feel inferior, extremely helpful and very kind. Drivers are great and so is the rest of the staff.

Your drivers do know they shouldn’t cut through residential streets per the OTR. And if they are going to do so from being lazy at least stop at the stop sign. Witnessed this unloading my car today around 2:45pm. My street had enough issues with water main breaks without semi trucks coming down it.

If you are hard working and want to work 5 or 6 days a week, Hemo is your place. Their payments are good and on time. The dispatch team are friendly. They have repair shop and Mr Ruddy always take care of issues.

These guys are awesome. I have a couple of old friends that work there. Hell I’d drive for them if they weren’t across the river..
