In August, September and October you can walk along the riverside for a few kilometres in both directions. You can even see secret waterfalls. Don’t miss this. You will be glad you did.

Pros: Sceneries are beautifu!!Cons: Lots of goose poop so pick your picnic area wisely and lots of flies.

For the most part it is clean and well taken care of. The problem is the people that deside to deface the natural beauty with graffiti. The rocks within the rapids.

Nice outdoor place for any season. Walk is not too long but very enjoyable and educational and small paths can get you close to the water.

We took a walk in the end of January, when it snowed. Definitely bring your family and small kids with you and a sled to sit the smaller kids on is a bonus to have with you for this walk during the winter.

Very nice park. The bathrooms are clean and usually unlocked. The gardens are stunning. Only gave three stars because the playground is small and doesn't cater to all ages and because the trails are 1km ish. So if you're just looking for a quiet spot with lots of greenery, then this place is 5 star. But if you're seeking more hiking and to entertain your kids, this may not be the best park.

It's so beautiful here, Me and My Dad went walking down the trail and it was my first time back here in 8 years it feels like nothing has changed and I remember all the memories down here, we went swimming by the rapids and saw some animals. Overall I loved coming back down here <3

If you want a nice view of the Ottawa River, this park is a nice place to walk. It’s paved and smooth and not challenging at all. It is also generally not busy at all- at least by my standards as someone from Kitchener. There is a nice playground area too for kids.
