Keep away from this shop especially if you drive a JDM car. Went there for Out of Province Inspection and I had no problem about failing the inspection. The main reason I am appalled is the numerous problems he listed that were not even a problem in the first place, but still he listed as needing repair.For example.1.Changing the timing belt" on a Honda K24 engine

(Brakes, need balanced, rotated) Super pleasant person to talk to, very straightforward as well.He also made sure to clear the codes on my engine light to see what else is wrong - advised me to follow up with new thermostat.Also suggested my shocks to be replace as well as wheels (these ones im sure we’re leftover issues from the previous owner).Surely worth recommending all my friends to this auto shop.Regards.

I got a strange milky-colored coolant. The problem was tricky and could be a serious and costly one(could be a blown head gasket or transmission).The owner of this auto shop worked till late at night, meticulously inspecting things one at a time. I also received updated pictures and development over the very detailed work. The owner offers expert suggestions yet respect the client's decision. Finally, the issue was located, and happily, it was only a small issue with a reasonable cost, and I got my car in 30 hours. Though it is a small family-run business, I would recommend this auto shop if you're looking for an honest and skilled mechanic. The only drawback is that you need to schedule an appointment because it can get quite busy; I had to wait 4 days to get in line.

Eugene is an amazing mechanic who is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Rather than just recommending expensive fixes, he recommends potential alternatives and more cost-effective solutions depending on my needs for the car. He also goes the extra mile to make sure the car is well taken care of and takes pictures to show the difference in what has been replaced (e.g. rotors, oil color). I would highly recommend going to K-Auto!

The owner is very knowledgeable, friendly and honest which is probably the most important aspect for any mechanic shop. Don't hesitate whether you want to come or not. I have never met someone as honest as K Auto.Best mechanic in Calgary hands down!

Having my truck break down right at the start of a cold snap was less than ideal, but finding a mechanic who was able to get it in right away proved to be even more frustrating. After many disappointing phone calls, I was referred to Eugene by a family friend who surpassed my expectations. Not only was he able to look at it right away, but the diagnosis and explanation of what was going on were accurate, truthful, and well-detailed as to what needed to be fixed. Great shop. Friendly, honest, quality service and they got the job done in a few hours. They sent pictures of all issues after inspection and also called to explain everything in detail. Would highly recommend.
