Base31 was interesting to see progress towards revitalization and maintaining history. The opening day visitor booth was well staffed with knowledgeable people. The staff were warm and welcoming.I loved the hats and I purchased a few.I could have snacks and drinks there but I had my own.

Great music venue in Drill Hall! The sound was kicking and the lights were awesome! Kudos to the organizers for such a nice chill vibe with indoor/outdoor seating, concessions stands, and decent toilets and security.

We dropped in on a Saturday and had a great time. There was live music, a food truck and lots to see on a walk around the property. We stopped into a gallery studio and bought some souvenirs, and admired the art in the Aviators Garden.

We had family visiting from Scotland who were interested in learning more about the history of Base 31. We stopped in at the Visitor Centre and spoke with a few staff members regarding a tour. It turned out that they were planning to launch a professional tour package in a few weeks but said we could assist with a preview tour" to provide input. They followed up and booked us for a "test tour" that included interesting recorded interviews with past residents we listened to as we walked from building to building. Overall

We visited Base31 for the Bedouin Soundclash concert. The venue was amazing! Clean and spacious, staff was incredible and the acoustics were fantastic. Parking, food, drink, it was all awesome. We had the best time and can’t wait to see more shows here.

Summer camp reviewNot only was I charged an exorbitant amount for the experience, the value was supposed to be in the arts experiences provided by artists on the base, they have yet to do an arts day.The first day they read 4 chapters of a chapter book to the kids. The teachers they have hired are wonderful, but the whole experience is very disorganized. There is no cooled accommodation for your child. Expect them to come home waaayy overheated and grumpy after spending 7.5 hours traipsing back and forth across the Base all day long.I spent less than half of the cost, moving from Base31 to PEFAC and wish I would’ve just went with PEFAC or The Hub in the first place.

Nice enough venue… BUT… vendors were not ready for their customers that arrived at 7:30. Was very near 8:30 when everything was finally up and running. Nothing was cold, nothing was hot… very disappointed. A bright spot though - the Cressy Hot Dog Folks….Awesome job!!… well done.
