Sunwood Dry Cleaners

Out of the handful of times I dropped off items to them for dry cleaning, most came back okay. But one of my silk button ups came back with cracked buttons (almost every one was damaged) and at least one of my chunky knit sweaters (100% wool) was completely shrunken. My experience with this place has been that they never bear responsibility for any outcome so you’re really taking a chance with all your delicates that are best left to be dry cleaned. If you don’t mind that then go for it as the prices are very reasonable.

Dropped off my suit for dry cleaning and they ruined my suit. They broke the sleeve buttons, and tried to mischievously replace them without me finding out. Some where blue, some where black. The least you could do is keep them the same colour and size (or flat out be honest and tell me about it). The also messed up the crease, which spirals down my leg like a twister!!! Perhaps they should close up shop and open a corner store instead...

I used their service few times and everything was fine.Until I brought in 2 recently purchased Hugo Boss suits.When I got them back I found only the boss suits have wrinkly back side.I brought them back for repress and looked fine until I wear the jackets at home.Second time I returned they told meThese types of light suits also have very thin liners . Apparently when pressing the suits liners have shrunk so it pulls the outter side causing the ruffles .And it took 3 trips to tell me this.When I complained they showed me a writing on the back of the receipt stating they are not responsible for shrinkage.I told the owner,Yes I do understand clothes like cotton shirts or jeans do shrink,But when suit liners are shrunk due to high heat causing the structure of the suit wrinkle and not wearable this company had to try to fix it removing the liner and resaw them on.They agree to fix it but a Taylor is very busy and told me to come back 2 weeks.When i picked up my 2 suits and tried them on after 3 weeks later. It was still the same.They never fixed it.They just ironed them again for the 4th time.I was so upset I just left.Now I am looking for a good Taylor to fix them.I will not deal with them.

Went in to get my suit dry cleaned, just a basic cleaning I guess. Friendly staff, quick service, and cheap! Suit was ready in a few days and only cost 30 bucks. Quick and easy. Will likely go there again next time I need something done :)

Quick reliable service with good pricing. I get my suits cleaned here a few times a month. Never had an issue. Owner always friendly and helpful.

I bought a beautiful high waisted, floor length silk skirt for my engagement party and champagne was spilled on it, along with grass stains all around the bottom of the skirt. Not only this, I put off taking it in for 6 months which unfortunately gave the stains plenty of time to set in. I brought it in with little hope and when I went to pick it up it looked brand new again! Not a single stain in sight. Will definitely go back if I need anything dry cleaned!!

Decent dry cleaners. However they are a bit more pricy than Martinizing Dry Cleaners (up on IGA). The owner charged me $40 for a down jacket with fur hood
