Sooda Korean BBQ
This place is honestly SO DELICIOUS!! The food was amazing and I felt so full after eating, and the service was phenomenal. I went during lunch time and it wasn't that busy at all so I managed to get a seat right away.I highly recommend coming here for some good Korean food and I would love to return!

The atmosphere is very unique for a Korean restaurant. The menu is super cool and retro. I like that it offers different kinds of items like the Sooda boxes. I ordered a full honey butter Sooda box and although it’s tasty I didn’t really taste the honey butter. It’s basically pressed rice with beef on top and torched (like an aburi).The least favourite for us is the seafood pancake which is thick and more batter than seafood and green onions. The honey ribs was ok, it wasn’t sweet enough. We really enjoyed the spicy tofu soup and the Sooda fries. It reminds me of Costco fries with cheese, kimchi and bulgogi added to it.Overall great dining experience and the server is very kind and attentive.

Really cool chill vibe! Facilities are nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Went with our friends for lunch the food did not disappoint. I am not one for Korean but I really enjoyed all the food we got. I would definitely return and recommend checking it out!

It’s only my 2nd time to Sooda. The service was great as well as the food. The soup is flavourful for both dishes and the gamjatang has 3 pork bones and lots of vegetables.I feel like it’s a bit different from other Korean restaurants that I went before. But I am not Korean so I can’t tell for sure. I would definitely go back again to try other dishes.

Been here a couple times. It has always been busy. The servers are friendly. There's this one lady server that stands out above the others. She is super friendly and I remember our first visit here, she explained the menu and showed us how the food is usually eaten. She even served us to show an example. Superb service.Because it's always busy, your whole party needs to be there before being seated.The food is always good. And also the special is something you don't see at other restos. Def a sharing meal. If you're craving Korean comfort food, this hits the spot. We ordered the Special with Spicy Pork, Half Cheese Sooda Box, Honey Butter Chicken and Sooda Fries. We were 4 people with leftovers and our bill came to just under a $100 before tip.

I’m lactose intolerant but the Sooda cheese and corn is way too delicious for me to care.Decided to try out the OG after having Sooda Gastown, and Sooda’s Burnaby did not disappoint! Their Korean BBQ is super good and comes super quickly. Their menu is a little confusing/daunting, but the staff are happy to help.I went on a weekday during non-busy hours, and we were promptly seated. The staff were quick and friendly, and provided helpful pointers about the food (spiciness level, meat, how to mix the food, etc). The servers also speak Korean, if you’d prefer to order in that language. Would recommend!

Fancy and tasty food but little lacks in value. Service however was very good. Server was professional and friendly. We did not try their signature pan food, perhaps next time.

Really neat Korean spot. The dishes are unique and the mains are served on a skillet that warms up. Overall really cool experience with authentic Korean flavours. The servers were also very kind. There is a time limit of 1.5 hours, which worked out great because you weren't waiting hours to get a table.

I came here with a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We had the Japchae, seafood pancake, Half original Sooda box/ half honey garlic soda box and the Sooda Bulgogi box. The Korean beef was very tasty. Loved the Japchai! The seafood pancake was one of the best I've had. The soda box was fine but I'm not big on eating too much rice. Portion sizes were great. We had left overs at the end. If you come expect it to be busy and to be told there is at least a 1-2hr wait. We went on a Saturday around 5:50pm and put our names down. They called us about 45 min after for our table. Good service. Small restaurant and busy place. Worth trying if you like Korean food.
