I couldn't say enough good about our experience with Totem. Specifically, Frank. Frank is hands down the best contractor/service person we've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Every single thing he did was not only right, but well executed, polite, professional...Frank came with shoe covers, which one might expect but no one we've ever had in has bothered even if their company boasted of it. Frank was well spoken and more than that could clearly read the situation and respond not only appropriately but with every bit of professionalism you could ask for and more.He paid attention to both of us but clearly figured out who was in charge of the machines and split his attention while speaking to match. I felt this was not based on any kind of preconception of who to speak to because of gender or anything like that. He also went out of his way not to mansplain" any concept he needed to convey

Pleasantly surprised by the service from Totem. They were able to send someone within 24 hours and Ken was great. He worked quickly and quietly and left no mess whatsoever. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem, and gave me a detailed instructions on how to follow up. Very impressed from start to finish.

Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything that was wrong with our fridge, and the costs to repair it. He also was honest about the $1000 repair bill not being worth it for a 12 year old fridge, and explained what we could do to continue using it without further repairs, until such time as we are ready to purchase a new one. Will definitely call on Totem again when we need help!

The receptionist and coordinator was fine. The technician that came to look at my dishwasher essentially told me my issues were all in my head and to change detergent. He dismissed my concerns about a high-pitched noise because he couldn't hear it, but I can, and everyone else that comes over can. Was very pricey to basically imply I'm crazy and that I am doing my dishes wrong. Very patronizing and condescending.

Initial calls handled promptly, pleasantly, and efficiently. The technicians (usually Danny, in my case) are great --- arrive when they say they will, and are very professional. They arrive prepared and get the job done... well. No wonder Totem has been in business for so long!

Wasn’t overly impressed that the repair technician said our washer/dryer was too old and no parts were available. Easily found the parts online and ordered / replaced them myself. Now I understand that appliance repair companies order their parts through authorized distributors, however if their suppliers do not have parts then they should have stated this prior to coming out since we provided the model number in order to book to the Service call. Seems like a bit of a money grab to come out and tell us they don’t have parts and charge $150 for that. Very sketchy in my opinion.

I expected them to roll the cost of inspection into fixing our problem. The second thing is we had the fridge totally apart right down to the source of problem, the evaporator. Again no help with cost. Unfortunately we had to go with company due to timing. The weekend our fridge went down and they were the ones that could get it fixed in a week. A week without a fridge we had no choice. If I had time I would recommend going somewhere else

We needed our ice maker repaired. From the first phone call to their office until the technician, Jeffrey, left our home, we had wonderful service. It was handled so professionally and done quickly. I would definitely use Totem Appliances again.

I needed service on my Sub Zero wine fridge and called Totem. I got a timely response and booking for ain-home service call. The technician identified the problem and arranged a callback once parts were ready. It was a difficult and complicated repair but the technician, Marco, was up to the task and completed the repair in a very professional manner. All billing’s were as quoted and the entire process was very satisfactory. I would recommend Totem for your appliance service needs.
