Very good bagel but very expensive for what it is and how small it is. If it was lower price I would’ve rated it much higher. But $12 for a bagel with veggies is just on the high side overall.

One of my favourite places to visit! Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Their sandwiches are good but my go-to is picking up their pre packaged smoked salmon, bagels, and cream cheese and making it at home. Grocery store smoked salmon just doesn't compare!

Your life won’t be complete without Lox and Schmear. I am never without several packs of their smoked salmon, smoked trout, and pickled onions and capers. Their smoked trout salad is my favourite afternoon snack, and their freshly baked babkas are mind blowing.It’s obvious how much love and care goes into their food. Lox and Schmear will allow you to step up your brunch game, and will bring so much joy into your life.Also, Lev is a wonderful human. So it’s a win win!

Everyone else mentioned the good aspects which I agree with, so I will mention two things I didn’t like. The first is that I asked for bagels that are not crunchy but I still got crunchy bagels so if you hate crunchy bagel like me, just remember to emphasize that point about your bagel. Secondly is that they use single-use plastic cups for tap water, which is extremely wasteful. They can use paper cups or glasses but unfortunately they went with the worst option for the environment.

IMO the best bagels in Toronto! Incredible. I make a point of going here as often as I can with friends. It’s a great brunch spot, queer-owned, incredible menu and lots of variety including vegan options. The lox is amazing but also I really recommend the tuna bagel. Delicious!

Love the sandwiches , lox is top notch. Not a fan of the bagel itself (Montreal style) but still a great spot. Tahini chocolate chip cookies are amaaaazing.

The quality of ingredients at Lox is incredible. The fish is fabulous and the accoutrements are plentiful. I always order a Lev’s bagel (add the dill) and love trying some of the other fun goodies like the compost cookie or the seasonal smoked salmon hamantaschen.
