We recently installed 3 heatpumps and experienced a very high level of professionalism, work ethic, and customer service. I also want to highlight specifically the excellent customer service, communication and care we received from both Luke and Karen, they have gone above and beyond what most companies would provide. I would highly recommend King's Refrigeration.

We are very happy with the service provided. The team was exemplary on terms of tidiness, organization and communication. The job was completed with minimum mess and disruption.The end product was neat and unobtrusive and, perhaps above all, communication with the team was excellent. You clearly value your staff, and invest in training your teams. It shows.We have had extensive dealings with companies and contractors over the past eight years. Without doubt your team was the most professional. For example, we have never experienced teams informing us whenever they left site, whether for lunch or for working off site. Similarly, the back office has been swift to respond to all enquiries. We would happily use KR again and would recommend their services to others

Had a Fujitsu heat pump installed last week. I don't know how well it works as I haven't had time to use it much yet. I told the installers that if they needed anything at all moved to help with the installation, just to ask me. They left my cable box and router covered with drywall dust. Every time I called the company I got voicemail. Fiona who works there told me that they answer their voicemail within an hour, which isn't true. I gave them my credit card information when I booked the installation and they lost the information. This is a classic example of a good small company that is being spoiled by success. Work of mouth advertising is one of the most powerful tools for a small business and I for one cannot recommend this company after my experience.

We had an person come to HRM and give us a quote. He didn't really give us any information other then brochures, and seemed offended when I asked how he arrived at the sizing of the heat pump needs since he didn't look much around the house (every other company that quoted us measured rooms, etc.). He was in line sizing wise with other quotes and came in far below others cost wise. I did get the sense he was perhaps nervous being in the city since we are in a pandemic and state of emergency.We didn't receive a confirmation call to confirm the night before which I found odd. The installers showed up earlier than planned and were just the most genuine people you could ask for. It was a miserable day to install as we were receiving rain from a hurricane system. The guy inside was friendly and chatted with my son who was very interested. The work was done cleanly and efficiently.Overall we saved serious money by going with a company not based in HRM but who services Nova Scotia. We received a $250 maintenance package and a weather shelter as a promotional bonus.

Went through this company to have a ducted heat-pump installed in my house.The owner was great to deal with. I asked dozens of questions, requested 7 or 8 quotes for different options - which he gave great advice on and responded quickly. Specialists were sent in check all the details to make sure things would go well with prior to the install.In the end we have a great new system that has smart control, keeps every room in the house cool, and is very quiet.One of the bests parts though is that the final bill/invoice 100% matched the initial quote given. I've had bad experiences in this regard with other companies in the past that I pretty much expect some random mark-ups by the end - nothing like that with this company though - they even did a few extra things to insure smooth operation of the system they didn't charge for. The install guys were great, fast, and clean in the install. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

System functions great, but sadly missed a rebate I assumed was part and parcel of the deal. It's why we selected them and unfortunately that didn't work out. I appreciate the follow up and phone conversations: my earlier review was in frustration with the loss of rebate. Company is sound.

Could not have had a better experience. Bought a home with a King's installed unit. 7 years later still running without a glitch. Decided to add an additional unit for the bedroom cooling. Gave a competitive quote (checked 4 others). Arrived on time, very professional personnel, finished an hour before expected. Perfect install, cleaned up everything, ensured we were happy and explained all features and maintenance options.

We have a 2 year old Fujitsu heat pump that started to leak water on us Saturday. I left messages for these folks and called them Monday AM to follow up, they scheduled us in Tuesday 11:00 to 2:00 PM and Dan the tech. showed up just before 11:00, spent about 1.5 hours here. He explained the steps he took, persisted with a difficult drain hose installation then went on to do the long overdue cleaning...an excellent professional determined to do a 1st class job. The three people I talked to by phone were all very good communicators and solid performers as well. I was not even a regular client though I will be in future.

We had our new heat pump installed and our other one relocated through Kings refrigeration. We were so pleased with the two guys who came to do the install. They arrived on time and were so efficient in their work. They explained things well and took the time to answer any questions I had. They were professional and even came in to let me know when they were going for lunch and what they had running. They were great with our one year old and dog. When they finished they explained how everything worked, cleaned up and left everything as if they never even were here. We were so pleased. After receiving a few quotes and being in contact with other companies we are so glad we went with you guys. It was definitely worth the wait!

I simply cannot recommend this company any higher. Professional, courteous and great to deal with. I recommend them to anyone looking for repair work or for new installation.
