Elle was an amazing instructor! She made my wife Megan and I very comfortable and she was very encouraging. We were first timers, but Elle got us both standing in no time. Thanks again!

I have had 2 lessons now with Surf Sister and both were amazing! We had Lindsay and Sarah as our instructors and both were very knowledgeable and hands on. They are so personable and funny. Sarah was very good at giving tips on how to improve and they both celebrated your little victories. When in the shop the other instructors were so friendly and genuinely cared about how your lessons went. Highly recommend them for anyone wanting to learn to surf! An experience I will never forget!

Had a wonderful time with surf sisters. The lessons lasted quite long and our instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable. The water is cold but the wetsuits keep you warm. I highly recommend giving it a try it is not that difficult to begin and is a lot of fun. My only complaint is it would be nice if they also provided wetsuit gloves to keep your hands warmer

We are a family of 5 that took a lesson with Surf Sisters. India was a fantastic instructor!! We had a blast, and actually got up on our feet more than we expected. If you're in town for a few days, I'd recommend doing a lesson at the beginning of your trip so you can rent gear and give it a go once you have a lesson under your belt. Totally worth it! Booked the day 1 lesson online on a whim. It was totally outside my comfort zone and when it comes to sports I’m definitely not a natural. I was second guessing going but decided to just go for it! I’m so glad I did. Harry was our instructor, and really set us up for success. He taught us how to read the wave, safety, stance, a bit of technique. He was really encouraging and made it so fun. I was able to get up the first try and it was truly an experience I will never forget. Popped into the store later that day and did some shopping which had a great selection. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here. I highly recommend a surf lesson. Safely is clearly a priority and so is ensuring everyone had a blast!

We were repeat customers of Surf Sister again this summer, my teenagers (15 and 17) loved their lesson so much last summer, they couldn’t wait to do it again.This year they got Riley who was phenomenal, I have 2 very different kids (one cautious, one a tornado) and she was amazing with both. They both said they were impressed how knowledgeable she was and I felt like they were in excellent hands, safety wise.She gave my daughter (the tornado) lots of useful tips and she spent the afternoon catching wave after wave. My son (cautious) was equally as included even though he is happy just belly boarding.They both are already talking about next year and we all hope Riley is there to be their instructor again. I had a great lesson with Lander a couple weeks ago! He was very patient and gave me some great tips to improve my surfing. I felt comfortable with his knowledge and really enjoyed the lesson!

Our kids had an incredible experience with Sarah. She had the perfect balance of instruction and fun! Our kids have taken lessons in various places over the last couple of years and Sarah was by far the best instructor. She instructed them in a way that made sense to them and it began to click. Freaking amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to learn how to surf for the very first time or just to have fun. My mom and I walked into the shop Saturday at noon looking for a lesson for Sunday morning, ended up on the beach by 1pm the same day learning to Surf with India. She was an incredible instructor and we had so much fun!

So much fun! Cam was a super lovely instructor. Surfing definitely not my strong point but she was super helpful. Small groups are ideal - would definitely do another lesson with the school
