Horrible customer service. Just last night, because I wasn't having their attitude and disrespect. So she then abused her power and fabricated that I was ABUSIVE and warned me I am to no longer communicate with Freedom via WhatsApp. I would report yet from what I have seen the call center in Manila Philippines don't care and do as they please. Well Federal goContacting the CRTC and the federal government along with the humans right commission to filled a serious complaint. It's unacceptable and I will not have it

How do I get a Canadian representative to answer my calls at Freedom? They told me to keep trying 611 until someone from Canada picks up ???The agents in Egypt and Philippines can't assist me with my concerns. Time well wasted.

Switching to Freedom was my biggest regret. They boast “Nationwide” but I would call it “good luck leaving your house with a working phone.” I constantly would lose service, anywhere from at the gym to driving between Edmonton and Red Deer. I’ve missed important calls and texts and no one was able to get ahold of me due to the terrible cell coverage. I may have been on a small data plan, but I’m not just talking data here. I couldn’t even send a text over a regular network signal. Spent a whole vacation in Kelowna with no signal. Even SaskTel has coverage in other provinces, sheesh.

This company has no customer service what so ever. On sunday my current device was destroyed, and as it was no fault of Freedom's, instead of making it their problem, I opted to pay out my remaining tab on the device and ordered a new one thinking my old freedom phone would suffice while I waited for the new one. When I realized it would not as I am a business owner who relies on a phone for my livelihood, I contacted support to see if I could either change the order to pick up in store, or cancel it and place a new order in store. I was told it is absolutely impossible to cancel an online order. It is impossible to pick it up in store, and it is impossible to place a new order while this one is in progress. This policy seems unethical, if not illegal. I went into a store to see if they could help me, and the agent there said he could call and see if he could get it cancelled so he could do it there for me. He asked for ID and refused the only form I currently have, claiming it does not suffice for making a contract, which seems odd as I am already a Freedom client and did not need the ID to make the order online. It is now Wednesday and I STILL have not even received notification of shipping. I have spent roughly 6 hours dealing with various agents, managers and client retention over the past 3 days, nearly all of them telling me there's nothing they can do. No one offered an alternative option to get me a phone, no one offered me compensation. When I finally demanded compensation I was offered $10 off for the next 3 months, which comes NOWHERE near what I'm losing in business right now. Client retention finally made a slightly better option, but also admitted online orders CAN be cancelled, so I have been lied to by several Freedom agents. Literally not one person in their customer service seems to care how much this is affecting me and my business. I have literally never been so frustrated or disappointed by a service provider, and for several years I had internet through Primewire. (Google them, seriously. And believe me when I say I went through hell with them, but this is worse). I'd love to go ahead and switch providers but it's important I keep my business costs down and unfortunately freedom is the most affordable provider, not to mention, with what I just paid out on my old device and put down on the new one I can't really go drop money on a new phone contract until this awful company figures out how to get it together. I've resorted to complaints to the CTRC and BBB because of how unethical this all is.

I use the pay as you go plan. When I topped up the last two times, the store put through my $50 payment in multiple smaller amounts so the entire balance would end in 2 months instead of 6 months. If you don't top up before the expiry date, any money in your account is gone! This is clearly fraud. I called Freedom and got nowhere, so I spoke to a supervisor and still got nowhere. I was on the phone for over an hour. I wasn't asking for anything to compensate me for my great inconvenience. All I wanted Freedom to do was change my expiry to the proper date as if they had put my $50 payment through in one transaction. I'm wondering if this company is a scam.

I have been getting charged extra money every bill and I need to waste minimum 1 hour to contact freedom customer care and explain them. Never go with freedom mobile for cheap price they give you.First they will give you cheap plan and then charge you extra money for some reason. If your person who is busy and don't look at your auto pay. You won't even know this.Please don't go this company.

This is too much 1 star should be 0Star! I keep getting cut off the calls are directed to Philippines, sounds like 100 people in room talking at sametime. Noise level is crazy lound like l am in the eye of a STORM and l am expected to hear and understand her and think.The airport is quieter.Mr. CEO do a better job for customer service, service is Horeibilus. Atrocious billing practices, with immediate use of collections agencies for overdue amounts without other notice. Bunch of amateurs. Glad I left. Good riddance.

Let me start by saying I have been with Freedom since it was WIND and for the most part had been pretty happy.I will summarize the best I can so you, the reader, aren't bogged down with tons of information.In December of 2020 I purchased a NEW number for my OLD phone to give to my son for Christmas. Within a few months he broke it and I continued to pay as to pay the tab balance off. Fast forward to March of 2022 and I went into the store to cancel his number and upgrade my partners phone only to be told that my sons phone had MY # attached to it and his # was attached to my newer phone. They told me it was how things worked when I disputed that was not what was discussed and what happened. So instead of canceling and upgrading I had to call customer service. The people were friendly enough but unable to do anything at all about this issue. I spoke with several supervisors who then were able to cancel my number and were to reinstate it back to my phone. I waited 2 weeks and my phone still didn't turn back on and within those 2 weeks not one single person could figure out why or what I needed to do. I went to the warranty store 3 times on my own dime and was refused any help as this was an issue with the IT team and phone services team.Finally someone told me I needed to get a new sim card so I did. When jt came time to put the Sim card number into the phone to activate there were 500 steps that did no work. I called customer service AGAIN only to be told they couldn't do it over the phone for security purposes?? I called again the following day and what do ya know? The agent was able to put the Sim card number in with no issue..except they uploaded thr WRONG NUMBER TO MY PHONE. So, I have lost COUNTLESS money during all of this as I rely heavily on my phone for income, I've been lied too, driven around wasting money, had thr wrong number put on my phone and now my services are suspended again. I refuse to pay for the entire bill as this has drained me due to not being able to work, all this driving, all this wasted time and effort.If I am not given a 50% credit and the ability to finally upgrade my partners phone with a decent plan then I am washing my hands clean of this company and moving on.

Freedom is a complete scam ..after speaking to an agent that refused to help. According to Freedom rep Freedom is in the business of taking payments in full but not giving you the full service. I renewed my son's service in September and was told I was good for another year but here we are in June and Freedom has disconnected his service and robbed me of 3 months payment. They are trying to say because I originally purchased the phone in June as a 1 year prepaid but did not renew until September during that period there was no service to phone. I paid in September and renewed the phone as he returned to school but here we are in June and the phone has no service. So I get robbed of 3 months and Freedom refuses to honor it. They are trying to say it's contract but how is it contract when it's a prepaid service? I'm a single mom and completely feel robbed from Freedom!!!
