So far my longest stay in a single hotel. The hotel is excellent if you want to stay longer and cook your own food. The rooms have full kitchen - stove top, refrigerator, microwave oven, sink, coffee machine, plates, cups, glasses. Rooms are spacious. Bed is large enough. There is a sofa, desk, dining table and chairs.Breakfast was good compared to other hotels in this area. They don't serve lunch or dinner.Room service was not good. Someone would only attend if we ask in the reception.Location is great. Right in the heart of downtown Halifax, and in the most happening area. The are so many restaurants, bard, shops nearby. Waterfront is 5 minutes walk.

Clean rooms. Heat didn't work in room so it was a bit chilly for my liking. Mentioned it to desk at checkout. They removed parking fee due to inconvenience. Location close to many food options. Off street parking garage is good so vehicle isn't left on the street. Tight spaces. Be mindful of ceiling and pipe heights when in parking garage.

Good:- polite staff- breakfast included and it has variety- Rooms are spacious and have everything need for a comfortable longer than a day stay-central location- comfortable bedBad:- TV and remote connection is really slow. Changing the channel is a chore- center of everything, but also comes with the live music that tends to end at around midnight- for someone who likes to sleep cold, the AC in the room isn't the best

Renovated old building. Only 5 story Building and it has compact place for their visitors. Rooms and Breakfast restaurant are decent. Good and generous staff. Stayed for a month . I had good experience and nearby groceries, pubs and waterfront etc

Stayed here for a couple of days on vacation in July 2022. Was impressed with the COVID precautions - quick and efficient check-in and they provided me a space in one of the two underground garages. Appears they manage the number of cars parking there so you are guaranteed a space even if you take your vehicle out for a day trip. Room was clean and spotless. Quiet as well. Plenty of interesting eating and drinking establishments within a very short walk. Bit further on you can reach almost everything on foot as well. NOTE: finding parking down by the waterfront can be quite the challenge.

Great location in downtown Halifax. Easy walk to the boardwalk or bar / restaurant scene.Check in was easy and fast. Parking is available onsite for $25 a day.We had a room with two bedrooms and bathrooms. It was plenty big.We did notice that the room was not properly cleaned. There was an old t shirt from a previous guest just sitting on the floor in one of the bedrooms as well as bobby pins all over the floor in the washroom. They clearly did not vacuum the carpets between stay. After this we did check the washrooms, bedsheets and kitchen throughly. All of these were clean and didn’t bother us to stay. It was a turn off though. Rooms are tired and likely should get rid of the carpeting. The hotel did try to send someone the next day to vacuum and left us some snacks for the inconvenience.Breakfast was a nice touch in the mornings.

I am titanium elite with bv - so I have spent some time in Marriotts across N America. Steer clear of this establishment. You will not get a good night of rest - the hotel is bordered by two blocks of outdoor music that goes on past 2am. The rooms are outdated - 1970's decor, maybe that's your thing... The bed is like sleeping on a slab of concrete, careful not to plop down on it... The a/c is a complete joke, you can set the temp and it will blow air but to no affect. Lastly - the staff, you can complain but they will just stand their with a blank stare - but really what can they do? To sum it up, don't waste your money on this place and if your Bonvoy - no, they don't recognize it although they have placards up so in my opinion, just scroll onto the next hotel - you have been forwarned!
