San Jose Concrete Pool Restoration & Painting

In September of 2020 I drained our 20X40 concrete pool and the team from San Jose Pools arrived resurface it and paint it over the course of 4 days. Once they were done I waited a week (as instructed) before refilling it to close it for the season.As the summer of 2021 rolled along pieces of paint started coming up with the pool cleaning robot. I contacted Andres (the owner) and he said we stand by our work - we will make this right...".He advised late in the summer that he felt the problem was the paint - which still makes it his problem - but he was going to "fix" it.When we opened in the Spring of 2022

The team was on time, answered all of our questions, did a fabulous job resurfacing our concrete pool and this old beauty look brand new. Before, during and after photos. Highly recommend Andre and his team.

pleasant to work with and very satisfied the summer the work was done. Next summer when the pool was opened some of the work was coming off in sheets. I called San Jose but no call back. The pool got worse and worse with a great deal of paint and undercoating coming off in sheets. The pool people who recommended them called them and they said they would repair it the next spring when I called to make an appointment there was no answer. I finally called with my out of country cellphone and they immediately answered and yes they would come and fix it but they still did not know who I was when I gave them my address they hung up. I called another company to have the pool fixed and they knew who had done the work without my telling them. They said everyone who called had the same story--first year great and then pool surface started to come away in sheets. Having this repaired this time is much more expensive because they have to get the surface that San Jose pools put on off in order to put on a surface that will stick. I have called a few pool companies including the one that originally recommended them to me and they all say the same thing. They would not recommend them to any of their customers because of the terrible quality of their work.

They did a pool restoration. Andre fell asleep on the porch while one guy was fixing the pool. Opened the door can smell whiskey on him. I startled him by waking him up and he hoped in his lifted company truck ran over my mailbox and drove off. He is not someone i would hire if you want a fly by nighter.. All these 1 star comments seem to be the same, Andre deflects and says he is the best and everyone's wrong but him.. What a joke

Review edited May 2022 to reflect very poor customer service. Paint and workmanship have not even lasted 2 years.We are very happy with our pool! The staff at SanJose Pools are very professional and hardworking. Our pool is over 40 years old and now looks brand new! Highly recommend Andre and his team.

They refinished our concrete pool. From start to finish, it was a great experience. The crews were very friendly, and worked fast. The owner and project manager were also amazing to deal with. Our pool now looks amazing! I would highly recommend this company!

Terrific experience from beginning to end - great customer service, professional and high quality work restoring our concrete 18x36 in ground pool. They specialize in this work all over Ontario. The company owner and the crew was great to deal with they work quick and keep you up to speed on the process and the end result is fantastic. Pricing was on point for the amount work needed.. so glad we found this company !
