Killick Island Walking Trail
Only a short trail. Ideal for strolling. It's so quiet and peaceful there. Seems like every other day there is something new to see either on the trail or on the water. Whales have been seen from here also.

Killick Island Walking Trail
This is likely the nicest walk in Botwood. Old American base infrastructure. Ammo storage area. Large boat launch, floating docks. There is a large float plane (flying boat) next to the boat launch. The boat launch can handle very large boats. A fishing boat was taken from the water while I was walking the trail. There is a larger parade square in front of the boat launch which gives ample room for boats and vehicles off very large sizes to maneuver. Water was still and smooth like glass.

Nice little stroll. Hardly long enough to call a walking trail but if you are in Botwood it is a lovely little stroll. A little run down but still nice.
