Hilton Lac-Leamy

This is still the best hotel overall in this price range. It has incredibly great service. The hotel has a buffet option with excellent variety and well-prepared options for all ages. My kids compare every hotel to this one. Few can compete.It has a large indoor pool heated above 81 F which was so comfortable. The large outdoor pool is attached via a little swim-through region.The hotel sits on a large lake surrounded by a nice path filled with wildlife and joggers. Also, there were plenty of activities to entertain all ages. Every area was kept clean during our stay.

The hotel and casino are connected with an indoor hallway.Valet parking available at the hotel.Beautiful big lobby. Lots of space to hang out and chill,As always, very nice reception.One traveller among us is a member of the casino. I am a Hilton member. We got a lovely 25% discount for this stay. We were even able to upgrade to a junior suite for an extra 88$. Very nice room. We always enjoy our chance to stay at the Hilton Lac-Lemay. The indoor and outdoor heated hot tubs and pools are our way to set back, relax, and decompress. The rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly and courteous to speak in English if need be. Great location. Would recommend!

Very disappointed with hotel for the price. The room wasn’t clean, there was actually soap left in the bathroom from the previous occupant! Not enough towels were left, there was water in the ice bucket which indicated that it had not been cleaned. The floor was wet, no idea why. When I booked my stay, the confirmation email that I got was only in french. No bill was provided prior to check out so that I could ensure it was correct and simply do a speed check out. Therefore I had to go to the counter and do the check out that way. My bill did not match what I was charged when I verified when I returned home. I called and they said there was a deposit of $100 taken which would be reimbursed within 7 days. However, no mention was made of this on check in or check out. All in all, Not a good experience.Thanks for telling me to go to your website and provide you with information so that you can resolve the issue. Your website is not working so no one can actually leave a message. I'm very very disappointed with the Hilton for this lack of customer support. I've now wasted over an hour of my time trying to resolve this and provide information that you supposedly need to fix this, but you already have my email so how about you actually do something about this instead of making it look like you care,...

First time visiting. Very pleasant surprise. Great restaurant, very nice room and facilities. My wife wants to come back so that is high praise. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend. We aren't gamblers but its a good sized casino with loads of card tables. Very nice views! Will return for more couples weekends.

The location is super as it is situated on a lake (private), with lots of distance back drops of buildings! The room is very spacious and well lit-up. The food from the buffet lunch during the weekend is one of the best in the region. The parking is FREE and spacious! It is a very good alternative to the downtown Ottawa hotels. It is a high class choice to have this hotel as the venue of the event(s)! Remember that Celine Dion once had a concert at the Theatre here.

Terrible experience at this hotel. An hour after I checked out from the hotel, I realized that I forgot my phone in the room on charge. I called the hotel and was told that they did not find anything in the room and call back when they find it. No one ever called back. We called 5 times that day and the next day. Every time they promised they would call back. It's now have been 2 days and the phone has not been found. I don't see how that could happen in a hotel like Hilton $500 a night. Staff steal phones? At those days, the staff went on strike, demanding better working conditions. Maybe you Owners pay attention to it? So they don't have to steal phones from guests. For me it was the last night in the Hilton hotel chain. I do now police report.

Very clean and super great location, right next to Lac-Leamy and the Casino... Close to downtown Ottawa. Higher floor rooms with great view of the lac. One indoor & outdoor pools. Very clean gym. Very good restaurant. Great service by staff! Will go back!

Overall, a decent experience. There was a strike of most unionized CSN workers so the hotel was running on basic servicesPros:- existing front desk staff were doing the best they could and were nice- hotel is always very nice- best view for fireworks from Parliament HillCons:- support staff not very friendly- no restaurants unfortunately due to strike.- Parking can be a far walk- nothing really walkable other than a grocery store and a McDonald's. Need a car
